3. Job Set-up

A. Remove the HP Bleed Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-51-000-042).

4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-51-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection/Check of the Hight Pressure (HP) Bleed Valve Seals
(1) Examine the seal for signs of oxidation or carbon flakes.
(2) Examine the seal for unwanted material from parts which touch the seal.

NOTE: If necessary, clean the surface of the seal with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) moistened with CP 11-006methyl alcohol.

(3) Examine the surface and the edges of the seal for dents, pitting, cracks, scratches and distortion.

If unwanted material cannot be removed from the seals or if damage or distortion is found, replace th seal.

A. Install the HP Bleed Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-51-400-042).
