A. Installation of the Tool
   (1) Connection of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET
NOTE: Use the bleed test-set kit 99127-231 TEST SET BLEED - KIT to perform this test.
NOTE: Set the pressure gage (5) to ON. The pressure value given on the LCD screen must be equal to 0 psi. If it is not equal to 0 psi, push the ON button during 10 seconds.
     (a) Connect the 28VDC electrical cord (T03) between the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and an external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL:
  • Start the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
     (b) Connect the test port adaptor (T25) to the union of the bleed regulated pressure-transducer.
     (c) Connect the "Y" adaptor (T06) to the test port adaptor (T25).
     (d) Connect the pneumatic hose (T04) between the "Y" adaptor (T06) and the test set connection (9).
     (e) Connect the pneumatic hose (T05) between the "Y" adaptor (T06) and the test set connection (14).
     (f) Open the primary pressure-source shutoff-valve to slowly pressurize the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

B. Functional Test of the Bleed Regulated Pressure-Transducer
   (1) Do the test that follows:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the test set:
  • Set the blue valve (7) to ON.

2.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the BLEED key.
On the SD:
  • The BLEED page comes into view and shows the pressure.
3.On the test set:
  • Use the knob A (3) to increase the pressure to 90 psi (6.20 bar).
On the test set:
  • The LCD (5) shows the pressure.

On the SD:
  • The BLEED page shows the supplied pressure which must agree with the value given on the LCD (5).
4.On the test set:
  • Use the knob A (3) to decrease the pressure to 0 psi.
On the test set:
  • The LCD (5) shows the pressure.
