   (3) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the ON legend is off).
     (b) Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the ON legend is off).
     (c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
   (4) In the cockpit, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
   (5) On the HP ground connector:
     (a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
   (6) In the cockpit, on ENG section of panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC system.

Subtask 36-11-16-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Bleed Regulated Pressure-Transducer
   (1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
   (2) In the cockpit, on the SD bleed page:
     (a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES DURING DISCONNECTION OF THE SENSE LINE, ONE TO MAINTAIN THE FIXED NUT AND THE SECOND ONE TO LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE SENSE LINE COUPLING.
   (3) Install a new AIPC 36-11-06-06-160 PACKING (7) on the coupling (5).
   (4) Clean the threads of the coupling (5).
CAUTION: APPLY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF GREASE TO THE THREADS OF THE HOSE-ASSEMBLY COUPLING NUTS, AND REMOVE THE UNWANTED GREASE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY. IF YOU USE TOO MUCH GREASE, IT CAN CAUSE CLOGGING OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY OR DAMAGE TO THE RELATED COMPONENTS.
   (5) Apply a thin layer of Dry lubricant-General Assembly Molybdenum Disulfide & Silicone - (Material No.
03QBC1) or Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threads of the coupling (5).
   (6) Connect the coupling (5) to the pressure transducer (4).
   (7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.

   (8) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.

   (9) Install the pressure transducer (4) on the support (8).
   (10) Install the screws (3) and the washers (2) on the pressure transducer (4) and tighten them.
   (11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the pressure transducer (4).
   (12) Connect the sense line (6) to the coupling (5).
   (13) TORQUE the nut to between 155.76 and 127.44 lbf.in (1.76 and 1.44 m.daN ) T.

   (2) Remove the warning notice from the HP ground connector.
   (3) Connect an air source to the HP ground connector.
   (4) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, set the X BLEED selector to OPEN.
   (5) Supply a stable pressure of 30 psi (2.1 bar) through the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-002) or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-001).
   (6) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:
  • make sure that the pressure on the related engine is 30 psi (2.1 bar)
   (7) Make sure that there are no leaks at the junction between the sense line (6) and the pressure transducer (4).
