A. Installation of the Bleed Regulated Pressure-Transducer
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
(4) Clean the threads of the coupling (5).
(6) Connect the coupling (5) to the pressure transducer (4).
(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(9) Install the pressure transducer (4) on the support (8).
(10) Install the screws (3) and the washers (2) on the pressure transducer (4) and tighten them.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the pressure transducer (4).
(12) Connect the sense line (6) to the coupling (5).
(13) TORQUE the nut to between 155.76 and 127.44 lbf.in (1.76 and 1.44 m.daN )
.
Subtask 36-11-16-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-006)
- For 131-9(A) APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
CAUTION:
USE TWO WRENCHES DURING DISCONNECTION OF THE SENSE LINE, ONE TO MAINTAIN THE FIXED NUT AND THE SECOND ONE TO LOOSEN/TIGHTEN THE SENSE LINE COUPLING.
(3) Install a new AIPC 36-11-06-06-160 PACKING (7) on the coupling (5). (4) Clean the threads of the coupling (5).
CAUTION:
APPLY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF GREASE TO THE THREADS OF THE HOSE-ASSEMBLY COUPLING NUTS, AND REMOVE THE UNWANTED GREASE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY. IF YOU USE TOO MUCH GREASE, IT CAN CAUSE CLOGGING OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY OR DAMAGE TO THE RELATED COMPONENTS.
(5) Apply a thin layer of Dry lubricant-General Assembly Molybdenum Disulfide & Silicone - (Material No.03QBC1) or Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threads of the coupling (5).(6) Connect the coupling (5) to the pressure transducer (4).
(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(9) Install the pressure transducer (4) on the support (8).
