A. Removal of the Bleed Regulated Pressure-Transducer
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
(4) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (2).
(5) Disconnect the duct (1) from the transducer (7).
(7) Remove the bolts (6) and the washers (5).
(8) Remove the clamps (4) and the transducer (7) from the bracket (3).
(a) Make sure that you also remove the protective Teflon parts when you remove the clamps (4).
(9) Remove the transducer (7) from the two clamps (4).
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For 131-9(A) APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the transducer (7). (4) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (2).
(5) Disconnect the duct (1) from the transducer (7).
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union when you disconnect/connect the pneumatic sense lines on the union.
(6) Put a PLUG - BLANKING on the end of the disconnected duct (1) and the transducer (7).
