C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the bleed air ducts are pressurized. If necessary:
   (2) On AIR COND 30VU panel:
  • Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF legends are off)
  • Make sure that the X BLEED selector switch is in the AUTO position
  • Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is pushed (the ON legend is on).
   (3) On the MCDU:
     (a) Adjust the brightness of the MCDU screen.
     (b) On one MCDU, get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/PNEU menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-011).
4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-00-740-055-A
A. BITE Test of the EBAS Application
   (1) During this procedure, if an error message comes into view, record it.
     (a) Do the related trouble shooting procedure.
NOTE: During the test, obey the instructions shown on the terminal.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the applicable BMC 1(2) indication.
The applicable BMC 1(2) page comes into view.
2.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.
The BMC 1(2)/TEST page comes into view.
3.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST indication.
The BMC 1(2)/PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST/CHECK INITIAL CONDITIONS page comes into view.
  • Initial conditions:
    * BLEED AIR PRESSURE AVAILABLE
    * BLEED PRESSURE SENSOR AVAILABLE
    * BLEED SYSTEM NOT IN SINGLE BLEED CONFIG.
4.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the CONTINUE indication.
The BMC 1(2)/PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST/CHECK INITIAL CONDITIONS page comes into view.
  • Initial conditions:
    * ENGINES OFF
    * ENGINES NOT IN START SEQUENCE.
5.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the CONTINUE indication.
The BMC 1(2)/PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST IN PROGRESS page comes into view.
  • The TEST IN PROGRESS indication is shown during some seconds.
  • The TEST RESULT page comes into view with PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST results:
    * PRESSURE SENSOR DRIFT TEST OK
    or
    * PRESSURE DRIFT TEST with failure message and CLASS come into view.
6.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE MENU page comes into view.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (2) On the MCDU:
     (a) Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).
   (3) Depressurize the air ducts:
     (a) With the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-805), or
     (b) With the HPGC (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-00-860-806).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
