B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the engine 2 shut down occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the panel 115VU to tell persons not to start the engine 2.
   (3) In the cockpit:
  • put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system,
  • put WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the slats.
   (4) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
  • make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch is off,
  • put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the FADEC 1.

   (3) Open the access doors of the air conditioning units 191BB.
   (4) Remove the access panels on the wings and belly fairings:
     (a) For the right wing and belly fairing:
   (5) Remove these access panels on the pylon:

E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM system only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) In the air conditioning compartment:
  • disconnect the pressurization interconnection line of the water tank, hydraulic reservoir and trim air valve from the pressure service check valves (7272HM and 7270HM).
   (3) Put PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends.
   (4) On the ECAM control panel 11VU:
  • push the BLEED pushbutton switch (the BLEED page comes into view on the lower ECAM display unit).
   (5) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, make sure that:
  • the PACK1 and PACK2 pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on),
  • the X BLEED selector switch is set to AUTO (the BLEED page shows that the X BLEED valve is closed),
  • the ENG1 BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off) (the BLEED page shows that the ENG1 BLEED valve is closed).
   (6) On the ANTI-ICE section of the panel 25VU:
  • make sure that the ANTI-ICE/WING pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-00-720-089-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Functional Test of the Engine Bleed-Air-Supply System
   (1) Start the ENG1 and let it become stable at ground idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, push the ENG1 BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is on) to pressurize the bleed duct system.
   (3) Set the XBLEED selector switch to OPEN.
     (a) The BLEED page shows that the XBLEED valve is open.
   (4) Do the leak test of all the air ducts in the RH wing (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
   (5) Stop the ENG1 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
Subtask 36-11-00-720-089-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Functional Test of the Engine Bleed-Air-Supply System
   (1) Start the ENG1 and let it become stable at ground idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, push the ENG1 BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is on) to pressurize the bleed duct system.
   (3) Set the XBLEED selector switch to OPEN.

A. Functional Test of the Engine Bleed-Air-Supply System
   (1) Start the ENG1 and let it become stable at ground idle (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043).
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, push the ENG1 BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is on) to pressurize the bleed duct system.
   (3) Set the XBLEED selector switch to OPEN.
     (a) The BLEED page shows that the XBLEED valve is open.
   (4) Do the leak test of all the air ducts in the RH wing (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
   (5) Stop the ENG1 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018).
5. Close-up
Subtask 36-11-00-860-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, release the ENG1 BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is off)
   (2) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (3) In the air conditioning compartment:
  • remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the line ends.
   (4) Connect the pressurization interconnection lines of the water tank, hydraulic reservoir and trim air valve to the pressure service check valves (7272HM and 7270HM).
   (5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (6) Close the access doors of the air conditioning units 191BB 192FB.

   (1) Close the right thrust-reverse cowl door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-040).
