Health Check Procedure - Pressure Regulation Function with the Bleed Test Set P/N 98L36103002000


WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.
NOTE: In the Health Check Procedures the electrical harness is in serviceable condition.
1. Reason for the Job
The Bleed Health Check procedure has a set of steps to do in order to first check the three functions of the EBAS.
The pressure regulation function contains the Bleed-Pressure Regulator Valve (PRV) (4001HA), the Bleed-Pressure-Regulator Valve Control-Solenoid (10HA) (referred in this procedure as the "PRV control solenoid") and the sense line that connects them.
The Bleed Health Check procedures contain a flow chart that can be used as instruction. This flow chart gives a visual idea of the procedure.
The operator can remove the components that have a drift, as given in the applicable flow chart, immediately or at the next maintenance unless there is an EWD message and the source of the CLASS1 failure is the component that has the drift. In this condition, you must refer to the MMEL/TSM for the aircraft dispatch.

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED P/B switch is pushed (the OFF legend is off).
  • Make sure that the APU BLEED P/B switch is released (the ON legend is off).
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
   (3) On the ENG panel 115VU:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
   (4) On the HP ground connector:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
   (5) On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) P/B is off.
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

L. Installation of the Tool for the Minimum Opening Pressure Test of the PRV (4001HA)
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (1) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire between the blanking cap and the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
   (2) Remove the blanking cap from the test port.
   (3) Connection of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
CAUTION: ALWAYS TRY TO INSTALL THE RED SIDE OF THE UNIVERSAL TEST PORT TOOL FIRST. IF YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE RED SIDE, INSTALL THE BLUE SIDE.
     (a) Install the red side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL on the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       1 If you can install the red side of the tool:
  • Make sure that the blue blanking cap of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL is correctly tightened on the blue side.
       2 If you cannot install the red side of the tool, do the steps that follow:
         a Remove the blue blanking cap from the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
         b Install the blue blanking cap on the red side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
         c Tighten the blue blanking cap with your hand.
         d Install the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL on the test port the PRV (4001HA).
         e Tighten the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL on the PRV (40001HA) with your hand.
   (4) Close the shutoff valve, the purge valve and the pressure regulator valve of the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000 NEVER EXCEEDS 217 PSI (15 BAR). IF THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO THE BLEED TEST SET EXCEEDS THIS VALUE, THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. IF THE AIR CYLINDER DOES NOT HAVE A MANOMETER INSTALLED, YOU MUST INSTALL THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE BETWEEN THE AIR BOTTLE AND BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000. THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE WILL LIMIT THE PRESSURE IN THE BLEED TEST SET TO 217 PSI (15 BAR).
   (5) Connect an AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY to the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
   (6) Connection of the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT. THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Connect the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED with the short bend flexible assembly to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
   (7) Set back to zero the digital pressure gage.

M. Minimum Opening Pressure Test of the PRV (4001HA)
   (1) Install the tool for the Minimum Opening Pressure Test.
   (2) Do the test that follows:
     (a) For PRV standard 6774B and 6714D (Deactivation screw is on the right of the test port, on the valve body).

1.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve of the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY.

2.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the primary regulator valve (on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED or on the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY) to pressurize the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

3.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to increase the pressure to 12.33 psi (0.85 bar) (red side of UTP installed) or 18.13 psi (1.25 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the regulator) or 16.68 psi (1.15 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the butterfly).
On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • The pressure is given on the digital pressure gage.
On the PRV (4001HA):
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
4.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure of the system to 0 psi (0.00 bar).

     (b) For PRV standard 6774E (Deactivation screw is on the left of the test port, on the regulator).
ACTION
RESULT
1.ON the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve of the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY.

2.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the primary regulator valve (on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED or on the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY to pressurize the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

3.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to increase the pressure to 20.55 psi (1.42 bar) (red side of UTP installed) or 29 psi (2.00 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the regulator) or 24.5 psi (1.69 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the butterfly).
On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • The pressure is given on the digital pressure gage.
On the PRV (4001HA):
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
4.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure of the system to 0 psi (0.00 bar).

     (c) For PRV standard 6774F and 6774G (Deactivation screw is on the left of the test port, in the regulator).
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve of the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY.

2.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the primary regulator valve (on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED or on the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY to pressurize the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

3.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to increase the pressure to 12.33 psi (0.85 bar) (red side of UTP installed) or 18.13 psi (1.25 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the regulator) or 16.68 psi (1.15 bar) (blue side of UTP installed, deactivation screw on the butterfly).
On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • The pressure is given on the digital pressure gage.
On the PRV (4001HA):
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
4.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure of the system to 0 psi (0.00 bar).

Subtask 36-11-00-480-117-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
N. Installation of the Tool for the Opening/Closing Test
   (1) Start with the installation of the tool for the minimum opening pressure test.
   (2) To simulate the opening/closing command, use the ENGINE BLEED P/B switch on Air Conditioning panel 30VU.

O. Opening/Closing Test of the PRV (4001HA)
   (1) Install the tool for the opening/closing test.
   (2) Do the test:
     (a) Opening/Closing test of the PRV (4001HA) with the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (Red side).
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve of the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY.

2.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the primary regulator valve (on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED or on the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY) to pressurize the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

3.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve.
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to slowly pressurize the system to 20.55 psi (1.42 bar).
On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • The pressure is given on the digital pressure gage.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) opens.
  • The visual indicator shows that the valve is open.
4.On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • Release the ENGINE BLEED 1(2) P/B switch.
  • At the same time on the chronometer push the START P/B of the chronometer.
On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • The ENGINE BLEED 1(2) OFF legend is on.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) closes.
On the chronometer:
  • Stop the chronometer as soon as the visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
  • Closing time must not be more than 4 seconds.
5.On the chronometer:
  • Push the RESET P/B of the chronometer.
On the chronometer:
  • Chronometer screen shows 00.
6.On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • Push the ENGINE BLEED 1(2) P/B switch.
  • At the same time on the chronometer push the START P/B of the chronometer.
On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • The ENGINE BLEED 1(2) OFF legend is off.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) opens.
On the chronometer:
  • Stop the chronometer as soon as the visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
  • Opening time must not be more than 10 seconds.
7.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure of the system to 0 psi (0.00 bar).
On the PRV:
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
     (b) Test of the PRV (4001HA) with the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (Blue side).
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve of the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY.

  • Use the primary regulator valve (on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED or on the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY) to pressurize the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to 100 psi (6.89 bar).

3.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Open the shutoff valve.
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to slowly pressurize the system to 29 psi (2.00 bar) (deactivation screw on the regulator) or 24.5 psi (1.69 bar) (deactivation screw on the butterfly).
On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • The pressure is given on the digital pressure gage.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) opens.
  • The visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.
4.On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • Release the ENGINE BLEED 1(2) P/B switch.
  • At the same time on the chronometer push the START P/B of the chronometer.
On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • The ENGINE BLEED 1(2) OFF legend is on.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) closes.
On the chronometer:
  • Stop the chronometer as soon as the visual position indicator shows that the valve is closed.
  • Closing time must not be more than 4 seconds.
5.On the chronometer:
  • Push the RESET P/B of the chronometer.
On the chronometer:
  • Chronometer screen shows 00.
6.On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • Push the ENGINE BLEED 1(2) P/B switch.
  • At the same time on the chronometer push the START P/B of the chronometer.
On the overhead panel 30VU:
  • The ENGINE BLEED 1(2) OFF legend is off.
On the PRV:
  • The PRV (4001HA) opens.
On the chronometer:
  • Stop the chronometer as soon as the visual position indicator shows that the valve is open.

7.On the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
  • Use the pressure regulator valve to decrease the pressure of the system to 0 psi (0.00 bar).
On the PRV:

P. Installation of the Tool for the Pressure Regulation Test of the PRV (4001HA)
NOTE: For PRV standard 6714D Series 01 to 06 previous to bleed improvement program, this test is not possible.
   (1) For PRV standard 6774B and 6714D with deactivation screw on butterfly valve and with coupling tube on actuator.
NOTE: Use the SBE2213 KIT TOOL-TESTER SENSE LINE to do this test.
     (a) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the blanking cap of the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       2 Remove the blanking cap from the test port.
     (b) Disconnection of the sense line:
CAUTION: USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT THE PNEUMATIC LINES ON UNIONS.
       1 Loosen the pneumatic union a quarter turn with a WRENCH - SPANNER.
       2 Shake the sense line with your hand to prevent cross thread damage to the pneumatic union.
       3 To prevent damage to the fitting end of the sense line, turn the union with your hand and not with WRENCH - SPANNER.
       4 Disconnect the sense line from the PRV (4001HA).
       5 Put a PLUG - BLANKING (T23) on the disconnected sense line end.
     (c) Connection of the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
       1 Remove the blanking plug from the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       2 Close the shutoff valve, the purge valve and the pressure regulator valve on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT. THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
       3 Connect the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED with the short bend flexible-assembly to the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       4 Connect an Air Cylinder or a Pressure Supply of 200 psi (13.7895 bar) to the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000 NEVER EXCEEDS 217 PSI (15 BAR). IF THE PRESSURE SUPPLIED TO THE BLEED TEST SET EXCEEDS THIS VALUE, THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. IF THE AIR CYLINDER DOES NOT HAVE A MANOMETER INSTALLED, YOU MUST INSTALL THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE BETWEEN THE AIR BOTTLE AND BLEED TEST SET 98L36103002000. THE PRIMARY REGULATOR VALVE WILL LIMIT THE PRESSURE IN THE BLEED TEST SET TO 217 PSI (15 BAR).
       5 Install the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
       6 Set back to zero the digital pressure gage in the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
     (d) Connection of the SBE2213 KIT TOOL-TESTER SENSE LINE and M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL to the PRV (4001HA):
       1 Connect the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL to the port of the PRV (4001HA) as described in Installation of the Tool for the Minimum Opening Pressure Test of the PRV.
       2 Connect the sense line tester (T10).
  • Make sure that the sense line tester valve 1 is in the CLOSED position.
  • Make sure that the sense line tester valve 2 is in the OPEN position.
  • Connect a pressure gage to the Sense Line Tester (T10).
  • Set back to zero the pressure gage.
   (2) For PRV (4001HA) standard 6774E, 6774F and 6774G with deactivation screw on regulator.
NOTE: Use the SBE2213 KIT TOOL-TESTER SENSE LINE to do this test.
     (a) Removal of the lockwire:

NOTE: Use a WRENCH 5/16 IN (8MM) - SPANNER if necessary.
NOTE: If the deactivation screw has a preformed packing, make sure that the preformed packing is installed on the deactivation screw and does not stay on the PRV (4001HA).
     (c) Connect the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL to the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
     (d) Connection of the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
       1 Close the shutoff valve, the purge valve and the pressure regulator valve on the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT. THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
       2 Connect the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.

     (f) Connection of the adaptor (T15) or (T19) to the PRV (4001HA):
CAUTION: FIRST TRY TO INSTALL THE ADAPTOR WITH THE SHORTEST THREADED AREA (T15). IF YOU CANNOT INSTALL IT, INSTALL THE OTHER ADAPTOR (T19). MAKE SURE THAT THE ADAPTOR (T15 OR T19) IS CORRECTLY TIGHTENED.
       1 Connect the adaptor (T15) or (T19) to the PRV (4001HA).
       2 TORQUE the test port adaptor (T15) or (T19) to between 1.1 and 0.9 m.daN (97.35 and 79.65 lbf.in ) T.
     (g) Connection of the
SBE2213 KIT TOOL-TESTER SENSE LINE to the PRV (4001HA):
       1 Connect the sense line tester (T10) to the adaptor (T15) or (T19).

   (1) For PRV standard 6714D and 6774B with deactivation screw on butterfly valve and with coupling tube on actuator:
     (a) Disconnect the hoses from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED and from the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
     (b) Disconnect and remove the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL from the PRV (4001HA).
     (c) Installation of the deactivation screw No.2:
CAUTION: WHEN YOU INSTALL THE DEACTIVATION SCREW ON THE VALVE, TIGHTEN THE SCREW WITH YOUR HAND BEFORE YOU TORQUE IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS PRECAUTION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SCREW AND THE VALVE.
     (d) Install the deactivation screw No.2 on the PRV (4001HA).
       1 TORQUE the deactivation screw No.2 to between 0.7 and 0.6 m.daN (61.95 and 53.10 lbf.in ) T .
     (e) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       1 TORQUE the blanking cap to between 1.2 and 1 m.daN (106.19 and 88.50 lbf.in )
T.
     (f) Safety with lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Safety the deactivation screw and the blanking cap with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (2) For PRV standard 6774E, 6774F and 6774G with deactivation screw No.1 on regulator.
     (a) Disconnect the hoses from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED, from the adaptor (T15) or (T19) and from the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
     (b) Disconnect and remove the adaptor (T15) or (T19) and the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL from the PRV (4001HA).
     (c) Installation of the deactivation screw No.1.
CAUTION: WHEN YOU INSTALL THE DEACTIVATION SCREW ON THE VALVE, TIGHTEN THE SCREW WITH YOUR HAND BEFORE YOU TORQUE IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS PRECAUTION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SCREW AND THE VALVE.
CAUTION: BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE DEACTIVATION SCREW, MAKE SURE THAT THE PREFORMED PACKING IS INSTALLED ON THE DEACTIVATION SCREW.
       1 Install the deactivation screw No.1 on the PRV (4001HA).
NOTE: If the adaptor (T19) is installed, the deactivation screw has a preformed packing.
       2 Replace the preformed packing.
       3 Install the deactivation screw on the PRV (4001HA).
       4 TORQUE the deactivation screw No.1 to between 0.7 and 0.6 m.daN (61.95 and 53.10 lbf.in ) T .
     (d) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
       1 TORQUE the blanking cap to between 0.80 and 0.65 m.daN (70.80 and 57.52 lbf.in )

     (e) Safety with lockwire:

C. Removal of the Tool for Opening/Closing Test and for Minimum Opening Pressure Test
   (1) Close the shutoff valve of the air cylinder.
   (2) Slowly open the purge valve to depressurize the test set.
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START TO REMOVE THE TOOLING, MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS NO PRESSURIZED GAS LEFT INSIDE THE DUCTS. IT CAN CAUSE AN INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE TEST SET TO/FROM THE EQUIPMENT. THE PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE AND THE PRESSURE GAGE ASSEMBLY OF THE TEST SET ARE HEAVY AND CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (3) Disconnection of the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED:
     (a) Disconnect the short bend flexible assembly from the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL and from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
   (4) Disconnect the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL from the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
   (5) Disconnect the AIR SOURCE 6.9 BAR (100 PSI) - REGULATED,FILTERED, DRY from the 98L36103002000 TEST SET - ENGINE BLEED.
   (6) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the PRV (4001HA).
     (a) For PRV standard 6774B and 6714D:
  • TORQUE the blanking cap to between 1.2 and 1 m.daN (106.19 and 88.50 lbf.in ) T.
     (b) For PRV standard 6774E, 6774F and 6774G:
   (7) Safety with lockwire:

   (8) Install and tighten with your hand the blue blanking cap on the
M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL, if it was removed.
