   (2) On panel 115VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
   (3) In the cockpit, on center pedestal panel 114VU:
  • Install a 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION in position on the flap and slat control lever.
  • Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) on the flap and slat control lever to tell persons not to operate the flap and slat controls.
   (4) In the cockpit, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
   (5) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off
  • Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the FADEC 1(2).

E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (2) Do the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
   (3) In the air conditioning compartment:
  • Disconnect the pressurization interconnection line of the water tank, hydraulic reservoir and trim air valve from the pressure-service check valves (7272HM and 7270HM).
   (4) Cap the disconnected ends with PLUG - BLANKING.
   (5) On the Pressure Regulator Valve (PRV) (4001HA):
  • Remove the cap from the test port
  • Connect an AIR SOURCE 3 BAR (43.5 PSI) - REGULATED, FILTERED, DRY to the test port
  • Increase the pressure to 40 psi (2.7579 bar) and stabilize it at this value.
  • Make sure that the valve is open: look at the manual position indicator.
NOTE: This procedure is to open the bleed PRV.
   (6) On control solenoid 10HA1 (10HA2) of the PRV, disconnect the electrical connector (1).
   (7) On ECAM control panel 11VU:
  • Push the BLEED pushbutton switch (the BLEED page comes into view on the lower ECAM display unit).
   (8) On AIR COND panel 30VU, make sure that:
  • The PACK1 and PACK2 pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF legends are off)
  • The X BLEED selector switch is set to AUTO position (the BLEED page shows that the CROSSBLEED valve is closed)
  • The APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off) (the BLEED page shows that the APU BLEED valve is closed).
   (9) On the ANTI ICE section of panel 25VU:
  • Make sure that the ANTI ICE/WING pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-00-720-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Functional Test of the Engine Bleed-Air-Supply System
   (1) Start APU:
     (a) After the APU starts, wait for a minimum of 3 minutes for the warm up period, before you select the APU BLEED.
   (2) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU, push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is on) to pressurize the bleed duct system.
The BLEED page shows that:
  • The CROSSBLEED valve is open
  • The APU bleed valve is open.
   (3) On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the APU page comes into the view on the lower ECAM display-unit and shows the APU BLEED pressure).
   (4) Do a leak test of the ducts of the bleed system (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
5. Close-up
Subtask 36-11-00-860-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, release the APU BLEED pushbutton switch (the ON legend is off)
   (2) Stop the APU:
   (3) Stop the pre-conditioning with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
   (4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002)
   (5)    (6) On the PRV (4001HA):
  • Stop the pressurization of the valve with the air supply
  • Make sure that the valve closes: look at the manual position indicator
  • Disconnect the air supply source
  • Install the cap on the test port.
   (7) In the air conditioning compartment:
  • Remove the PLUG - BLANKING
  • Connect the pressurization interconnection lines of the water tank, hydraulic reservoir and trim air valve to the pressure service check-valves (7272HM and 7270HM).
   (8) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (9) Install the access panels 191BB and 192FB of the air conditioning units (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).

   (2) Close AFT cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) and access door 312AR.
