(1) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the ENG 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On AIR COND panel 30VU:

Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on)
Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off)
Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.

(3) On ENG panel 115VU:

Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).

(4) On the HP ground connector:

Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.

(5) On the maintenance panel 50VU:

Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-00-440-112-A

A. Reactivation of the Bleed Pressure-Regulator Valve (PRV) (4001HA)

WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE BLEED VALVE COMPONENTS FOR A SHORT TIME AFTER THE ENGINE IS SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE COMPONENTS STAY HOT FOR SOME TIME AND CAN CAUSE INJURY.

(1) On the PRV (4001HA):
(a) Make sure the manual override control is in the CLOSED position:
1 Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to loosen the locking pin (1) from the manual override control in the PRV (4001HA).
(b) Remove the locking pin (1) from the manual override control to unlock the valve.
(c) Install the locking pin (1) as follows:

CAUTION: BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE LOCKING PIN OR SAFETY SCREW OR SPECIAL SCREW OR KNURLED SCREW, YOU MUST APPLY NEVER-SEEZ REGULAR GRADE. IF YOU DO NOT APPLY IT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MANUAL OVERRIDE CONTROL OF THE VALVE.

1 Apply NEVERSEEZ REGULAR GRADE (Material No.357500) or NEVER-SEEZ PURE NICKEL SPECIAL (Material No.357700) on the locking pin (1).
2 Install the locking pin (1) in its storage port in the PRV (4001HA) with a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
3 TORQUE the locking pin (1) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

(1) On the ECAM control panel, push the BLEED key (on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page comes into view).
(a) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:

Make sure that the related bleed-valve symbol shows closed in green.
