B. Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

C. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
  • Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on)
  • Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off)
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
   (3) On the ENG panel 115VU:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
   (4) ON the HP ground connector:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
   (5) On the MAINTENANCE panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-00-440-099-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Reactivation of the HP Bleed Valve (HPV) (4000HA)
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE PACKING IS IN POSITION WHEN YOU INSTALL THE LOCKING PIN ON ITS SUPPORT. THIS WILL PREVENT VENTING OF THE VALVE REGULATOR.
   (1) On the HPV (4000HA):
     (a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to remove the locking pin from the override control in the HPV (4000HA).
     (b) Remove the locking pin from the override control to unlock the HPV (4000HA).
     (c) Install the locking pin on its normal storage position on the HPV (4000HA) with a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL.
     (d) TORQUE the locking pin to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in ) T.

   (1) On the ECAM control panel, push the BLEED key (on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page comes into the view).
     (a) On the lower ECAM DU, on the BLEED page:
  • Make sure that the related HP bleed-valve symbol shows closed in green.
