MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On AIR COND control panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that the FAULT and ON legends in pushbutton switch MASTER SW are off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the APU.
(5) On the HP ground connector:
Subtask 36-11-00-010-256-A (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On AIR COND control panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the OFF legend is on)
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (the ON legend is off)
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(a) Make sure that the FAULT and ON legends in pushbutton switch MASTER SW are off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the APU.
(5) On the HP ground connector:
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton-switch is off
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 811.
(2) Open access door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to close access door 811.
Subtask 36-11-00-865-201-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 811.
(2) Open access door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to close access door 811.

A. Visual Inspection of the Bleed-Air Duct System
(1) FOR [7260HM] (CHECK VALVE-APU BLEED)
(a) Remove the APU bleed check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the APU bleed check-valve for any sign of Foreign Object Damage (FOD):
(a) Remove the crossbleed valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-52-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the crossbleed valve for any sign of FOD:
(a) Remove bleed-air precooler exchanger 7150HM1 (7150HM2) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-42-000-804).
(b) Visually inspect the bleed-air precooler exchanger for any sign of FOD:
(a) Remove the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-13-41-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the HP ground connector for any sign of FOD:
(a) Remove the overpressure valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-53-000-803).
(b) Visually inspect the overpressure valve for any sign of FOD:

5. Close-up(1) FOR [7260HM] (CHECK VALVE-APU BLEED)
(a) Remove the APU bleed check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the APU bleed check-valve for any sign of Foreign Object Damage (FOD):
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace the APU bleed check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-400-001).
- Install the APU bleed check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-51-400-001).
(a) Remove the crossbleed valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-52-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the crossbleed valve for any sign of FOD:
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace the crossbleed Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-52-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-52-400-001).
- Install the crossbleed Valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-12-52-400-001).
(a) Remove bleed-air precooler exchanger 7150HM1 (7150HM2) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-42-000-804).
(b) Visually inspect the bleed-air precooler exchanger for any sign of FOD:
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace bleed-air precooler exchanger 7150HM1 (7150HM2) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-42-000-804) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-42-400-804).
- Install bleed-air precooler exchanger 7150HM1 (7150HM2) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-42-400-804).
(a) Remove the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-13-41-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the HP ground connector for any sign of FOD:
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-13-41-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-13-41-400-001).
- Install the HP ground connector (Ref. AMM TASK 36-13-41-400-001).
(a) Remove the overpressure valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-53-000-803).
(b) Visually inspect the overpressure valve for any sign of FOD:
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace the overpressure valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-53-000-803) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-53-400-803).
- Install the overpressure valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-53-400-803).
(a) Remove the pressure service check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-56-000-001).
(b) Visually inspect the pressure service check-valve for any sign of FOD:
- Scratches, dents and missing segments
- Signs and impacts.
- Replace the pressure service check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-56-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-56-400-001).
- Install the pressure service check-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-56-400-001).

B. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the bleed-air duct system (excluding PRV and HPV) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-00-710-803).

C. Leak Test
(1) Do a leak test of the bleed-air duct system (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-803). No leaks are permitted.

D. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Close access door 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
