A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred no less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
   (2) On AIR COND control-panel 30VU:
  • Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend on).
  • Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (ON legend off).
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
   (3) On ENG control-panel 115VU:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start engine 1(2).
   (4) On the HP ground connector:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
   (5) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

Subtask 36-11-00-210-058-A
A. Inspection of the Bleed-Air Cold Flow-Path after Hail or Bird Strike
   (1) Do an inspection of the elbow duct (3) for cracks, dents and damage.
     (a) For the damage limits, refer to the Duct and Fuel Pipe Repair Manual (Ref. DFPRM 51-12-00-200-801-A01).
     (b) If you find cracks, dents or damage on the elbow duct (3):
   (2) Do an inspection of the fan-air valve body (2):
     (a) If there are cracks, damage and/or distortion in the area that connects the fan-air valve body (2) with the ducts:
   (3) Do an inspection of the fan-air valve actuator:
     (a) If there are cracks, damage and/or distortion:
   (4) Do an inspection of the exchanger inlet (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-44-200-803).
     (a) If you find damage in the exchanger inlet (1):
