(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) is shut down occurred not less than 5 minutes.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

- make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off)
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

Subtask 36-11-00-010-073-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Deactivate the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012). I. Open the thrust reverser halves (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-00-010-010):

(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal of the lockwire:
(c) Remove the knurled screw from its the storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Lock the override control with the knurled screw (1).
(2) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773B03 and P/N 6713D08:
(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal of the lockwire:
(c) Remove the safety screw (1) from its storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Lock the override control with the safety screw (1).

(3) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773E:
(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal of the lockwire:
(c) Remove the special screw (1) from it storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Remove and discard the packing (3).
(e) Lock the override control with the special screw (1).
(4) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773F and P/N 6773G:

(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal the lockwire:
(c) Remove the safety screw (1) from its storage port.
(d) Remove and discard the packing (2).
(e) Lock the override control with the special screw (1).

5. Close-upCAUTION:
CAREFULLY ALIGN THE LOCKING PIN WITH THE DEACTIVATING HOUSING ON THE VALVE. IF YOU ALIGN IT INCORRECTLY OR IF YOU TIGHTEN IT TOO MUCH, THE LOCKING PIN CAN REMAIN IN POSITION AND YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LOCKING PIN THREAD.
(1) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773B02 and P/N 6713D01 to 6713D07:

WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the knurled screw (1). (c) Remove the knurled screw from its the storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Lock the override control with the knurled screw (1).
NOTE: The pressure of the valve is released when you remove the locking pin from its storage port.
(e) Tighten the knurled screw (1) with your hand. (2) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773B03 and P/N 6713D08:
(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the safety screw (1). (c) Remove the safety screw (1) from its storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Lock the override control with the safety screw (1).
NOTE: the pressure of the valve is released when you remove the locking pin from its storage port.
(e) TORQUE the safety screw (1) to between 0.7 and 0.6 m.daN (61.95 and 53.10 lbf.in )
. (3) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773E:
(a) Use a WRENCH - HEXAGONAL to set the manual override control to the CLOSED position.
(b) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the special screw (1). (c) Remove the special screw (1) from it storage port.
1 Keep the washer (2) to install it in the reactivation procedure.
(d) Remove and discard the packing (3).
(e) Lock the override control with the special screw (1).
NOTE: The pressure of the valve is released when you remove the locking pin from its storage port.
(f) Tighten the special screw (1) with your hand. (4) On the HP bleed valve P/N 6773F and P/N 6773G:

1 Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the safety screw (1). (c) Remove the safety screw (1) from its storage port.
(d) Remove and discard the packing (2).
(e) Lock the override control with the special screw (1).
NOTE: the pressure of the valve is released when you remove the locking pin from its storage port.
(f) TORQUE the safety screw (1) to between 0.6 and 0.5 m.daN (53.10 and 44.25 lbf.in )
