Deactivation of the Bleed Pressure Regulator Valve
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE PARTS AFTER THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN. USE APPLICABLE THERMAL GLOVES. THE ENGINE PARTS CAN STAY HOT FOR ONE HOUR AFTER SHUTDOWN AND CAN BURN YOU.

a Do the leak check of all the bleed air ducts and pack components (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-00-790-001).
b Do a visual inspection of the bleed air ducts and items of equipment downstream the OPV (along the pylon and center fuselage to the starter valves, flow control valves, HP ground connectors, pressure service check valves and APU check valve but not the wing ducting). Make sure that there is no deformation and be very careful when you do the check of the bellows.
5. Close-upNOTE: This check is only applicable to aircraft with Overpressure Valve (OPV) P/N 6740G01XXXX. It is necessary to do a check of the valve reference because the valves are interchangeable.
(1) Get the post flight report (Ref. AMM D/O 31-37-73-00): (a) If the class 1 fault message PRESS REG-V 4001HA1(2) and the ECAM warning AIR ENG 1(2) BLEED FAULT comes into view during the flight phases 3, 4 or 5, get the ENG TAKE OFF REPORT in the MCDU and do a check of the pack values:
