3. Job Set-up
Subtask 35-13-51-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the access door 812.
   (2) Make sure that the access door 812 is open.
   (3) Make sure that the electrical circuit is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) which tells persons not to open the valve of the oxygen cylinder is in position.
   (5) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) which tells persons not to push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch is in position.

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

4. Procedure

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

Subtask 35-13-51-790-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Test of the Solenoid Valve
   (1) On the ECAM select DOOR/OXY page.
The OXY LO PR legend comes amber.
   (2) On the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch, the OFF legend goes off.
On ECAM no change.
   (3) Apply the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.
14CCB6) to the mechanical connections.
   (4) Very slowly open the valve of the cylinder (5750HM) 3.5 to 4 turns.
   (5) Let the pressure become stable. This occurs after approximately 90 seconds.
   (6) Fully open the cylinder valve.
  • On ECAM the OXY LO PR legend goes off.
   (7) Examine each connection to make sure that there are no leaks.
   (8) Rub off the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) .
   (9) On the C/B panel 49VU open the circuit breaker 1HT:
  • On ECAM the OXY LO PR legend remains off.
   (10) On the C/B panel 49VU close the circuit breaker 1HT:
  • On ECAM no change.
   (11) On the panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch. The OFF legend comes on.
   (12) On the oxygen-mask stowage box, operate the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.
   (13) On the DOOR page of the lower display unit of the ECAM system, the OXY LO PR legend comes on amber.
NOTE: The OXY LO PR legend goes off when the LP oxygen-supply solenoid-valve (3HT) is open.
Subtask 35-13-51-790-051-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Test of the Solenoid Valve
   (1) On the ECAM select DOOR/OXY page.
The OXY LO PR legend comes amber.
   (2) On the panel 21VU, push the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch, the OFF legend goes off.
On ECAM no change.
   (3) Apply the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) to the mechanical connections.
   (4) Turn the valve of the cylinder (5750 HM) very slowly until it is fully open.
  • On ECAM the OXY LO PR legend goes off.
   (5) Examine each connection to make sure that there are no leaks.
   (6) Rub off the solution Testing Medium-Leak Detection - Oxygen System (Material No.14CCB6) .
   (7) On the C/B panel 49VU open the circuit breaker 1HT:
  • On ECAM the OXY LO PR legend remains off.
   (8) On the C/B panel 49VU close the circuit breaker 1HT:
  • On ECAM no change.
   (9) On the panel 21VU, release the OXYGEN/CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch. The OFF legend comes on.
   (10) On the oxygen-mask stowage box, operate the PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control slide a sufficient number of times to make the system empty.
   (11) On the DOOR page of the lower display unit of the ECAM system, the OXY LO PR legend comes on amber.
NOTE: The OXY LO PR legend goes off when the LP oxygen-supply solenoid-valve (3HT) is open.
5. Close-up
Subtask 35-13-51-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Close Access
   (1) Close the access door 812.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
