TASK 35-13-15-000-001-A
Removal of the Oxygen Pressure Regulator/Transmitter

WARNING: KEEP ALL HYDROCARBONS (FUELS, LUBRICANTS, ETC.) AWAY FROM ALL SOURCE OF OXYGEN. OXYGEN BECOMES EXPLOSIVE WHEN IT TOUCHES HYDROCARBONS.
WARNING: CLEAN THE TOOLS AND MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE CLEAN TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM.
CAUTION: PUT DRY AND CLEAN METAL OR PLASTIC PLUGS ON ALL PIPES OR UNITS THAT YOU REMOVE TEMPORARILY. THEN PUT EACH PIPE OR UNIT IN A SEALED VINYL BAG. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, CONTAMINATION OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM CAN OCCUR.

A. Removal of the Oxygen Pressure Regulator/Transmitter
NOTE: The disconnected line ends must not stay open without protections for more than six minutes. Thus, install the vinyl bags and the blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends immediately after you disconnect them.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the electrical receptacle of the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3).
   (2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical connector (4).
   (3) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the electrical receptacle of the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3).
   (4) Disconnect the oxygen filling hose (1) as follows:
     (a) Disconnect the oxygen filling hose (1) from the filling port of the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3).
     (b) Remove and discard the ring (2).
     (c) Put an PLUG - BLANKING, APPROVED FOR USE WITH OXYGEN and a BAG - VINYL on the disconnected end of the oxygen filling hose (1).
     (d) Put the cap on the filling port of the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3).
NOTE: The cap of the filling port is attached to the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3) with a lanyard.
     (e) TORQUE the cap to between 1.581 and 1.129 m.daN (139.91 and 99.91 lbf.in ) T.
   (5) Disconnect the LP oxygen overpressure hose (5762HM) (6) as follows:
     (a) Disconnect the LP oxygen overpressure hose (5762HM) (6) from the overpressure port of the oxygen pressure regulator/transmitter (4HT) (3).
