A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (PFDs and NDs only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Do the IR alignment procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
   (4) On the EFIS control sections of the FCU:
  • Set the mode selector switches to ROSE.
  • Set the scale selector switches to 10.

   (1) Open, safety and tag TCAS circuit breaker 1006SG (ignore the related warnings).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the TCAS does not operate.
   (2) Put an applicable placard in position in the cockpit (refer to your standard practices and local regulations).
   (3) Make an entry in the logbook to record the deactivation.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Do the ADIRS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-005).
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
