Subtask 34-52-00-480-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If possible, install the TEST UNIT - ATC TCAS in the cockpit.
   (1) Put the antenna of the ATC ground test unit at 50cm (approx 2 ft.) from the ATC antennas.
NOTE: Use the ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE or the ROD 2 M - TELESCOPIC to put the test antenna near the ATC top antenna.
   (2) Connect the antenna to the ATC ground test unit.
   (3) Set the ATC ground test unit to ON.
Subtask 34-52-00-480-052-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. If possible, install the TEST UNIT - ATC TCAS in the cockpit.
   (1) Put the antenna of the ATC ground test unit at 50cm (approx 2 ft.) from the ATC antennas.
NOTE: For the test of the ATC 2 function, you must use the TCAS antennas (not the ATC 2 antennas).
Subtask 34-52-00-860-085-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set:
  • ATC system 1(2) to on
  • ATC code 7776, or a different code that your local Authorities gave you, to keep the traffic interference to a minimum
  • The ALT RPTG/ON/OFF switch to OFF
  • The STBY/AUTO/ON selector switch to STBY.
   (2) On the center pedestal, on one Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU), get the LGCIU 1 (2) menu page and simulate a flight condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001).
NOTE: On the MCDU, on the L/G page, it is necessary to push the line key adjacent to the EXTENDED indication (not the UPLOCKED indication).
Subtask 34-52-00-860-085-K ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
