B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position at access door 824 in zone 128.
   (2) Open access door 824.

D. Preparation for the Loading of the PCMCIA Card Software
   (1) Open the door on the face of the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Computer (GPWC).
     (a) Before you load the software make sure that the version of the terrain database is correct.
   (2) If you use a new PCMCIA card, make sure that the write protect switch is in the ON position.
   (3) Put the PCMCIA card into the PCMCIA card slot.
4. Procedure
Subtask 34-48-00-970-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Loading of the PCMCIA Card Software
   (1) Make sure that the COMPUTER OK LED, on the front panel of the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Computer (GPWC), is on.
   (2) During software loading, the IN PROG LED stays on and the COMPUTER OK LED is off.
   (3) When the loading is completed, the XFER COMP LED comes on.
   (4) If the loading is not satisfactory, do a reset of the Enhanced GPWC.
     (a) Open circuit breakers (2WZ) and (3WZ) and wait for approximately 10 seconds.
     (b) Close circuit breakers (2WZ) and (3WZ).
     (c) The loading of the software starts again.
     (d) The XFER COMP LED comes on when the loading is completed.
   (5) Remove the PCMCIA card from the Enhanced GPWC.
   (6) After approximately 15 seconds, the COMPUTER OK LED comes on to tell the operator that the loading of the PCMCIA card contents is completed.
   (7) On the label on the front panel door of the Enhanced GPWC, write the number of the database that you loaded.
   (8) Close the door on the front panel of the Enhanced GPWC.

B. Do a check of the P/Ns TERRAIN DB software and ENV MOD software uploaded in the Enhanced GPWC.
   (1) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST NAV: RADIO NAV page 3/3 (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001) then the LRU IDENTIFICATION page
F Sub-Menu Function - LRU IDENT ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (2) On the LRU IDENTIFICATION page, make sure that the P/Ns TERRAIN DB software and ENV MOD software uploaded in the Enhanced GPWC are the same as the P/Ns written on the label of the PCMCIA card.

C. Do the BITE Test of the Enhanced GPWC (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-00-740-002).

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
