A. Put an TAPE - 3M CONDUCTIVE ELEC(X-1181-COPPER OR X-1170-ALU) on the RA reception antenna 2 (5SA2). On the antenna, put as many aluminum tape layers as necessary to prevent display of the radio height value on the PFD (equivalent to the in-cruise condition for the RA).

(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the ADIRS alignment procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
(3) On the panel 13VU, on the CAPT and F/O EFIS control sections of the FCU:

(2) Do the ADIRS alignment procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
(3) On the panel 13VU, on the CAPT and F/O EFIS control sections of the FCU:
- set the mode selector switch to ROSE/NAV
- set the scale selector switch to 10.

Subtask 34-43-00-860-080-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Ignore all the warnings.
(1) For the test of the TCAS bottom antenna: - On the center pedestal, on one MCDU, get the LGCIU 1 page and simulate a flight condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001)
- Push the line key adjacent to the NOSE+LH+RH FLIGHT indication.
- Push the applicable P/BSW (EXTENDED and UPLOCKED)
- Start the ATC 1 system
- Enter the ATC code 7776, or a different code given by your local authorities, to keep the traffic interference to a minimum
- Set the TRAFFIC AUTO/ON switch to ON
- Set the SBY/ON/TA/RA/TA switch to RA/TA
- Set the ALT RPT ON/OFF switch to ON.

Subtask 34-43-00-860-080-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Ignore all the warnings.
(1) For the test of the TCAS bottom antenna: - On the center pedestal, on one MCDU, get the LGCIU 1 page and simulate a flight condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001)
- Push the line key adjacent to the NOSE+LH+RH FLIGHT indication.
- Push the applicable P/BSW (EXTENDED and UPLOCKED)
- Start the ATC 1 system
- Set the THRT/ALL/ABV/BLW switch to ALL
- Set the ALT RPTG/OFF/ON switch to ON.

Subtask 34-43-00-480-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Ignore all the warnings.
(1) For the test of the TCAS bottom antenna: - On the center pedestal, on one MCDU, get the LGCIU 1 page and simulate a flight condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001)
- Push the line key adjacent to the NOSE+LH+RH FLIGHT indication.
- Push the applicable P/BSW (EXTENDED and UPLOCKED)
- Start the ATC 1 system
- Enter the ATC code 7776, or a different code given by your local authorities, to keep the traffic interference to a minimum
- Set the ABV/N/BLW switch to N
- Set the STBY/ALT RPTG OFF/XPNDR/TA ONLY/TA/RA switch to TA/RA.
E. Put the TEST UNIT - ATC TCAS in position.
(2) Connect the test antenna to the ATC/TCAS test set.
(3) Make sure that the test antenna is in the line of sight of the TCAS bottom (top) antenna.
(4) Energize the ATC/TCAS test set.
Subtask 34-43-00-865-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: For the test of the TCAS top antenna, put the ATC/TCAS test set on an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) .
(1) Put the ATC/TCAS test set in position on the right side of the aircraft at 40 ft. (12.19 m) from the bottom (top) antenna and at the same level as the antenna. (2) Connect the test antenna to the ATC/TCAS test set.
(3) Make sure that the test antenna is in the line of sight of the TCAS bottom (top) antenna.
(4) Energize the ATC/TCAS test set.

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the center pedestal, put the ATC/TCAS control unit back to its initial configuration (standby/off mode).
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

C. Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the aluminum adhesive tape from the RA reception antenna 2.
(2) Remove the ATC/TCAS test set and the test antenna.
