3. Job Set-up
Subtask 34-41-37-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position at the access door 811 in zone 122.
   (2) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
4. Procedure
Subtask 34-41-37-420-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Wave Guide Switch
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Precaution:
If you install a new Mounting tray, make sure that you removed the attachment plates (4).
   (4) Clean and inspect the wave guide switch (17) interface and the adjacent area.
   (5) Install the wave guide switch (17) on its support (20).
   (6) Install the screws (18) and the washers (19). Do not tighten.
   (7) Install the screws (15) and the washers (16) and tighten them.
   (8) Tighten the screws (18).
Subtask 34-41-37-420-062-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Wave Guide Switch
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Precaution:
If you install a new Mounting tray, make sure that you removed the attachment plates (4).
   (4) Clean and inspect the wave guide switch (17) interface and the adjacent area.
   (5) Install two new AIPC 34-41-37-01-070 GASKETS (18) on the wave guide switch (17).
   (6) Install the wave guide switch (17) on its support (21).
   (7) Install the four screws (19) and the eight washers (20). Do not tighten.
   (8) Install the eight screws (15) and the eight washers (16) and tighten.
   (9) Tighten the four screws (19).
Subtask 34-41-37-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of the Mounting Tray
   (1) Install the mounting tray (21) in its housing (2) with the washers (23) and the screws (22).
   (2) Remove the CAP - BLANKING caps from the disconnected electrical connectors (1), (3) and (9).
   (3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Install the electrical connectors (3) in their housings.
   (5) Install the attachment plates (4) and attach them with the washers (5) and the screws (6).
   (6) Installation of the waveguide (12):
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE WAVEGUIDE AS DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF IT IS BENT BEYOND THE MANUFACTURERS LIMITATIONS. ENSURE THAT NO DEBRIS ENTERS THE WAVEGUIDE FROM THE OPEN END(S) WHEN REMOVED.
     (a) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the disconnected ends.
     (b) Install a new
AIPC 34-41-01-02-120 O-RING (27) on the waveguide (12).
     (c) Connect the waveguide (12) to the flange (26).
     (d) Install the four washers (25) and the four screws (24).
     (e) TORQUE the screws (24) to between 0.21 and 0.19 m.daN (18.58 and 16.81 lbf.in )

     (f) Installation of the lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Safety the screws (24) with the lockwire corrosion resistant-steel 0.8 mm (0.30 in.).
     (g) Install the two new
AIPC 34-41-01-02-120 O-RINGS (14) at the other end.
     (h) Put the window-pressurization (13) in position with the arrow that points in the direction of the mounting tray.
       1 If discarded, put a new
AIPC 34-41-01-02-190 WINDOW-PRESSURIZATION (13) or a AIPC 34-41-81-02-210 WINDOW-PRESSURIZATION (13).
     (i) Connect the waveguide (12) to the waveguide switch (17) with the four washers (11) and the four screws (10).
     (j) TORQUE the screws (10) to between 0.21 and 0.19 m.daN (18.58 and 16.81 lbf.in )

     (k) Installation of the lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
       1 Safety the screws (10) with the lockwire corrosion resistant-steel 0.8 mm (0.30 in.).
   (7) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends (8).
   (8) Connect the ventilation lines (8). Tighten the clamps (7).
   (9) Connect the connector (9) to the receptacle (1).
   (10) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 34-41-37-420-052-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of Mounting tray
   (1) Install the Mounting tray (22) in its housing (2) with the eight washers (24) and the screws (23).
   (2) Remove the blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors (1), (3) and (9).
   (3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Install the electrical connectors (3) in their housing.
   (5) Install the attachment plates (4) and attach them with the twenty washers (5) and the screws (6).
   (6) Put the O-rings (14) in their housings.
   (7) Put the window (13) and the wave guide (12) in position.
   (8) Install the four washers (11) and the screws (10).
   (9) Tighten the screws (10).
   (10) Install the lockwire.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Safety the screws (10) with the lockwire.
   (11) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends (8).
   (12) Connect the ventilation line (8). Tighten the clamps (7).
   (13) Connect the connector (9) to the receptacle (1).
   (14) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 34-41-37-420-052-G ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Installation of Mounting Tray
   (1) Install the Mounting tray (15) in its housing (2) with the four washers (17) and the screws (16).
   (2) Remove the blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors (1), (3) and (9).
   (3) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Install the electrical connectors (3) in their housing.
   (5) Install the attachment plates (4) and attach them with the ten washers (5) and the screws (6).
   (6) Put the O-rings (14) in their housings.
   (7) Put the window (13) and the wave guide (12) in position.
   (8) Install the four washers (11) and the screws (10).
   (9) Tighten the screws (10).
   (10) Install the lockwire.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Safety the screws (10) with the lockwire.
   (11) Remove the blanking plug from the disconnected line end (8).
   (12) Connect the ventilation line (8). Tighten the clamps (7).
   (13) Connect the connector (9) to the receptacle (1).
   (14) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
