A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the access door 811.
   (2) Open the access door 811.

C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

4. Procedure
Subtask 34-41-00-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Filter Assembly
   (1) Remove the weather radar transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-000-004).
   (2) Remove the knobs (1) from the filter assembly (2).
   (3) Remove the filter assembly (2) from the mounting tray.

B. Cleaning of the Filter
   (1) If you find stains of mud, dirt or dust on the filter assembly:
  • Use a BRUSH - BRISTLED, SOFT to clean it with WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
  • Use a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to clean it with Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Interior - - (Material No.08ACA1) .
   (2) If you find stains of oil or grease on the filter assembly:
  • Use Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to clean it with Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Interior - - (Material No.08ACA1) .
   (3) If you find marks or dust on the filter assembly:
  • Do steps (1) and (2) again with a piece of moist Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
  • Do these steps again until the part is fully clean.
   (4) Wash the filter in a container filled with WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION
   (5) Dry the filter and remove all moisture with a clean dry air supply.

C. Installation of the Filter Assembly
   (1) Install the filter assembly (2) on the mounting tray.
   (2) Install the knobs (1) on the filter assembly (2) and tighten them.
   (3) Install the weather radar transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the access door 811.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
