A. Removal of the Standby Compass
(1) Pull the access panel assembly 211MC (6) to disengage the compass structure assembly (5) from the support (2).
(2) Remove the four screws (7) of the access panel assembly 211MC (6).
(3) Remove the access panel assembly 211MC (6) from the compass structure assembly (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the standby compass (3).
(5) Remove the four screws (4) from the standby compass (3).
(6) Disengage the standby compass (3) from the compass structure assembly (5) and remove it.
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(1) Pull the access panel assembly 211MC (6) to disengage the compass structure assembly (5) from the support (2).
(2) Remove the four screws (7) of the access panel assembly 211MC (6).
(3) Remove the access panel assembly 211MC (6) from the compass structure assembly (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the standby compass (3).
(5) Remove the four screws (4) from the standby compass (3).
(6) Disengage the standby compass (3) from the compass structure assembly (5) and remove it.
(7) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
