Subtask 34-21-22-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Standby Altimeter (3FN)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from the line ends (3) and (5).
(4) Make a loop of the flexible hose and connect the quick-disconnect coupling (5) to the receptacle (3) of the standby altimeter (2).
(5) Make sure that you can see the blue ring on the quick-disconnect coupling.
(6) Pull the quick-disconnect coupling to make sure that it is correctly attached.
(7) Make sure that the quick-disconnect coupling is correctly engaged (the pin located on the quick-disconnect male part is fully engaged into the groove located in the quick-disconnect female part).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (4) and (6).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (6) to the receptacle (4) of the standby altimeter (2).
(10) Install the standby altimeter (2) in its housing.
(11) Look behind the standby altimeter and make sure that the position of the flexible hoses (static pressure line) is satisfactory (no crushing, kinks, creases or folds).
(12) Tighten the screws (1).

(5) Make sure that you can see the blue ring on the quick-disconnect coupling.
(6) Pull the quick-disconnect coupling to make sure that it is correctly attached.
(7) Make sure that the quick-disconnect coupling is correctly engaged (the pin located on the quick-disconnect male part is fully engaged into the groove located in the quick-disconnect female part).
(8) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (4) and (6).
(9) Connect the electrical connector (6) to the receptacle (4) of the standby altimeter (2).
(10) Install the standby altimeter (2) in its housing.
(11) Look behind the standby altimeter and make sure that the position of the flexible hoses (static pressure line) is satisfactory (no crushing, kinks, creases or folds).
(12) Tighten the screws (1).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the operational test of the instrument and panel integral lighting (Ref. AMM TASK 33-13-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Install the thermoformed cover on the center instrument panel.
(2) Install the sidewall 211LW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-002).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
