A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position at the access door 824.
(2) Make sure that the access door 824 is open.

B. Get Access
(1) FOR [1FP1] (ADIRU-1)
(a) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door 822.
(b) Make sure that the access door 822 is open.
(c) Make sure that the protective cover is removed from the battery power center 105VU.

Subtask 34-12-34-420-050-A
A. Installation of the ADIRU (1FP1, 1FP2, 1FP3)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that all the ventilation holes of the rack (3) are not clogged with unwanted material (paper, masking tape, plugs, etc.).
(4) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (1).
(5) Make sure that the electrical connectors (1) are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Push the ADIRU (6) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (1).
Subtask 34-12-34-865-052-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(7) Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs (5) and tighten. B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
(1) If one of the ECAM warnings that follow comes into view:
Subtask 34-12-34-740-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If one of the ECAM warnings that follow comes into view:
- NAV IR 1 FAULT
- NAV IR 2 FAULT
- NAV IR 3 FAULT.
NOTE: The ECAM warnings NAV IR 1 FAULT or NAV IR 2 FAULT or NAV IR 3 FAULT come into view if the ADIRU part number is in format HG2030BEXX. This is because the installed ADIRU does not agree with the minimum applicable standard.
D. LRU Identification
(1) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST NAV page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-010).
(a) On the LRU IDENTIFICATION page, do a check of the ADIRU part number:
(2) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration:
Subtask 34-12-34-740-056-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST NAV page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-010).
NOTE: The actions and results of this procedure occur on the MCDU used.
NOTE: It is not possible to do a full LRU identification immediately, approximately three minutes are necessary after the power-up.

- The P/N-SWMAG (OPC2 table) shown is correct.
(2) Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration:
- On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE MENU page 1/2 comes into view.
- On the MCDU, fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).
D. LRU Identification
(1) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST NAV page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-010).
(a) On the LRU IDENTIFICATION page, do a check of the part number of the ADIRU:

E. Check of the ADIRU Software P/N through the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT Page
(1) On the MCDU MENU page, push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication: the MAINTENANCE MENU page 1/2 comes into view.
(2) On the MCDU, push the next page function key.
(3) On the MAINTENANCE MENU page 2/2, push the line key adjacent to the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT indication.
(4) Enter 34 (the applicable ATA number) in the scratchpad.
(5) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT page, push the line key adjacent to the START indication.
(6) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT page, push the line key adjacent to the ATA 341234 ADIRU (1, 2 or 3) indication.
(7) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT/ATA 341234 ADIRU (1, 2 or 3) page, make sure that the correct software (software DB/N1) component is uploaded.
(8) Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE MENU page 1/2 comes into view.
Subtask 34-12-34-740-050-B (1) On the MCDU MENU page, push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication: the MAINTENANCE MENU page 1/2 comes into view.
(2) On the MCDU, push the next page function key.
(3) On the MAINTENANCE MENU page 2/2, push the line key adjacent to the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT indication.
(4) Enter 34 (the applicable ATA number) in the scratchpad.
(5) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT page, push the line key adjacent to the START indication.
(6) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT page, push the line key adjacent to the ATA 341234 ADIRU (1, 2 or 3) indication.
(7) On the AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT/ATA 341234 ADIRU (1, 2 or 3) page, make sure that the correct software (software DB/N1) component is uploaded.
(8) Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MAINTENANCE MENU page 1/2 comes into view.
F. BITE Test
(1) Do the system test of the ADR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-13-00-740-003).
(2) Do the system test of the IR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-740-004).
(3) If the airline operates the aircraft in CAT 3 conditions, do the operational test of the LAND CAT III capability (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do the system test of the ADR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-13-00-740-003).
(2) Do the system test of the IR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-740-004).
(3) If the airline operates the aircraft in CAT 3 conditions, do the operational test of the LAND CAT III capability (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
Subtask 34-12-34-860-051-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the overhead panel 23VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC1 and FLT CTL/SEC1 pushbutton switches (the OFF legend comes on and goes off).
(2) On the overhead panel 24VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC2, FLT CTL/SEC2 and FLT CTL/SEC3 pushbutton switches (the OFF legend comes on and goes off).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 34-12-34-410-050-A (1) On the overhead panel 23VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC1 and FLT CTL/SEC1 pushbutton switches (the OFF legend comes on and goes off).
(2) On the overhead panel 24VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC2, FLT CTL/SEC2 and FLT CTL/SEC3 pushbutton switches (the OFF legend comes on and goes off).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Close Access
(1) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(2) FOR [1FP1] (ADIRU-1)
Install the protective cover on the battery power center 105VU and tighten the two screws.
(3) FOR [1FP1] (ADIRU-1)
Close the access door 822.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(2) FOR [1FP1] (ADIRU-1)
Install the protective cover on the battery power center 105VU and tighten the two screws.
(3) FOR [1FP1] (ADIRU-1)
Close the access door 822.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
