Removal of the Emergency Overwing Lights
WARNING:
ISOLATE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS FROM THE RELATED EQUIPMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
THIS PROCEDURE IS NOT PERMITTED WHILST OVERWING REFUELLING.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for all emergency overwing lights 60 WL (61WL, 62WL, 63WL).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.
Subtask 33-51-15-860-050-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the LIGHT EMER pushbutton switch and its integral light are off.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position.
(2) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the EMER button and its light are off.

(2) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, make sure that the EMER button and its light are off.
C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) FOR [60WL] (LIGHT-FWD EMER, OVERWING), [62WL] (LIGHT-AFT EMER, OVERWING)
at Zone 844,
(b) FOR [61WL] (LIGHT-FWD EMER, OVERWING), [63WL] (LIGHT-AFT EMER, OVERWING)
at Zone 834.
(2) Put the wing mats in position at the respective emergency overwing light.
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position:
(a) FOR [60WL] (LIGHT-FWD EMER, OVERWING), [62WL] (LIGHT-AFT EMER, OVERWING)
at Zone 844,
(b) FOR [61WL] (LIGHT-FWD EMER, OVERWING), [63WL] (LIGHT-AFT EMER, OVERWING)
at Zone 834.
(2) Put the wing mats in position at the respective emergency overwing light.

A. Removal of the Emergency Overwing Light
(1) Removal of the Emergency Overwing-Light Assembly
(a) Remove the screws (2).
(b) Remove the emergency overwing-light assembly sufficiently to get access to the electrical connector (1).
(d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Remove the emergency overwing-light assembly.
(2) Removal of the Bulb(s) of the Emergency Overwing Light
(a) Remove the screws (3).
(b) Remove the lens (4) and the sealing (5) from the light housing (8).
(c) Remove the lens diffuser (6).
(d) Remove the bulb(s) (7).
(1) Removal of the Emergency Overwing-Light Assembly
(a) Remove the screws (2).
(b) Remove the emergency overwing-light assembly sufficiently to get access to the electrical connector (1).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(c) Hold the emergency overwing-light assembly and disconnect the electrical connector (1). (d) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(e) Remove the emergency overwing-light assembly.
(2) Removal of the Bulb(s) of the Emergency Overwing Light
(a) Remove the screws (3).
(b) Remove the lens (4) and the sealing (5) from the light housing (8).
(c) Remove the lens diffuser (6).
(d) Remove the bulb(s) (7).
