A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access door 314AR.
(2) Make sure that the access door 314AR is open.
(3) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 33-48-39-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access door 314AR.
(2) Make sure that the access door 314AR is open.
(3) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Get Access
(1) Be careful not to step on a closed access door.
(2) Open access door 314AR and safety it in the open position.
(3) Set the light switch to on.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Remove the used sealant from the ground bonding surface of the support and the power supply unit with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5) Make sure that the ground bonding surfaces have no signs of paint, sealant or corrosion.
(6) Clean the ground bonding surfaces with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

(4) Remove the used sealant from the ground bonding surface of the support and the power supply unit with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(5) Make sure that the ground bonding surfaces have no signs of paint, sealant or corrosion.
(6) Clean the ground bonding surfaces with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
B. Installation of the Power Supply Unit (18LV)
(1) Make sure that the ground bonding attachment point is clean (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Install the power supply unit (1) with the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(3) Tighten the screws (2) diagonally opposite.
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the electrical connectors (4) and (5).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the ground bonding attachment point.
(8) Make sure that the bonding contact resistance between the power supply unit and the support is not higher than 10 milliohms (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-720-005).
Subtask 33-48-39-865-052-A (1) Make sure that the ground bonding attachment point is clean (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(2) Install the power supply unit (1) with the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(3) Tighten the screws (2) diagonally opposite.
(4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Connect the electrical connectors (4) and (5).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant_General Purpose Brushable - (Material No.06AAA1) to the ground bonding attachment point.
(8) Make sure that the bonding contact resistance between the power supply unit and the support is not higher than 10 milliohms (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-720-005).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
