A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) in on panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)is position below the zone 534(634).

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Subtask 33-48-38-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove unwanted sealant from the power supply unit (2), the washers (3) and (5) and the bolts (4) and (6).
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Prepare for electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 33-48-38-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to remove unwanted sealant from the power supply unit (2), the washers (3) and (5) and the bolts (4) and (6).
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Prepare for electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
B. Installation of the Power Supply Unit
(1) Put the power supply unit (2) in the correct position. For this, align the six holes.
(2) Install the washers (3) and the bolts (4).
(3) Install the washer (5) and the bolt (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) on the bolts (4) and (6) and the washers (3) and (5).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Refer to the labels made during the removal procedure, and connect the electrical connectors (1) to the power supply unit (2).
Subtask 33-48-38-865-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the power supply unit (2) in the correct position. For this, align the six holes.
(2) Install the washers (3) and the bolts (4).
(3) Install the washer (5) and the bolt (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) on the bolts (4) and (6) and the washers (3) and (5).
(5) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Refer to the labels made during the removal procedure, and connect the electrical connectors (1) to the power supply unit (2).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Test
5. Close-upWARNING:
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LIGHT FLASH DURING THE TEST.
SUPPLY A COVER, OR SHIELD, TO GIVE PROTECTION FROM THE LIGHT FLASH TO PERSONS IN THE TEST AREA.
(1) Do the applicable operational test of the strobe light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-002). Subtask 33-48-38-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with the clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(3) Install the access panel (1):
(a) FOR [15LV] (PSU)
(b) FOR [14LV] (PSU)
(c) Put the access panel (1) in position.
(d) Install the screws (2) in the correct position. For this, refer to the labels made during the removal procedure.
(e) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.28 and 0.22 m.daN (24.78 and 19.47 lbf.in )

(4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) in the space between the sharklet and:

(3) Install the access panel (1):
(a) FOR [15LV] (PSU)
(b) FOR [14LV] (PSU)
(c) Put the access panel (1) in position.
(d) Install the screws (2) in the correct position. For this, refer to the labels made during the removal procedure.
(e) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.28 and 0.22 m.daN (24.78 and 19.47 lbf.in )
. (4) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Low Density Multi Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06ACB1) in the space between the sharklet and:
- The outboard side of the access panel
- The forward side of the access panel.
B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
