Installation of the Power Supply Unit
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL SAFETY-LOCKS AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) in on panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) is position below the applicable power suppply unit.
(2) Make sure that the access panels 534AB (634AB) are removed.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) is position below the applicable power suppply unit.
(2) Make sure that the access panels 534AB (634AB) are removed.
Subtask 33-48-38-420-051-A
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 33-48-38-420-050-A (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
B. Installation of the Power Supply Unit
(1) Carefully install the power supply unit (4), and make sure that the location pins are correctly engaged in their sockets.
(2) Attach the power supply unit (4) with the bolts (3) and the washers (2).
(3) Electrically bond the applicable bolt (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802):
(5) Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the power supply unit.
Subtask 33-48-38-865-052-A (1) Carefully install the power supply unit (4), and make sure that the location pins are correctly engaged in their sockets.
(2) Attach the power supply unit (4) with the bolts (3) and the washers (2).
(3) Electrically bond the applicable bolt (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802):
- for the left wing bond the inboard bolt (3)
- for the right wing bond the outboard bolt (3).
(5) Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the power supply unit.
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Test
Subtask 33-48-38-865-053-A WARNING:
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LIGHT FLASH DURING THE TEST.
SUPPLY A COVER, OR SHIELD, TO GIVE PROTECTION FROM THE LIGHT FLASH TO PERSONS IN THE TEST AREA.
(1) Do an operational test of the strobe light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-48-00-710-002)E. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
