B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(2) Make sure that switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(3) Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) is in the released position.
Subtask 33-48-36-010-050-A (1) Make sure that switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(2) Make sure that switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
(3) Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) is in the released position.
C. Get Access
(1) Put the STEPLADDER 1.5 M (5 FT) in position at the applicable location.
(2) Remove center ceiling panel 241CC to get access to the power supply unit (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put the STEPLADDER 1.5 M (5 FT) in position at the applicable location.
(2) Remove center ceiling panel 241CC to get access to the power supply unit (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).

A. Removal of the Power Supply Unit
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screws (4) and (6) and the washers (3).
(5) Remove the power supply unit (1) from the fuselage.
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Remove and discard the lockwire - corrosion resistant steel 0.6mm (0.24 in.) dia. from the electrical connectors (2) and (5).NOTE: Lockwire is not available, if it is a self-locking connector.
WARNING:
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) and (5) from the power supply unit (1). (3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Remove the screws (4) and (6) and the washers (3).
(5) Remove the power supply unit (1) from the fuselage.
