WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHTS FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AFTER OPERATION. THE STROBE LIGHT WILL STILL BE HOT.

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE STROBE LIGHT FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CURRENT IN THE CAPACITOR OF THE STROBE LIGHT IS DANGEROUS.

(1) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.
(2) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position under the applicable wing-tip strobe light in zone 534 or 634.
(2) Remove the glazing panel (1) from the applicable wing-tip strobe light (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-12-000-802).

A. Removal of the Strobe Light Flash-Tube Assembly

CAUTION: BE CAREFULL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE ATTACHMENT SCREWS. THE LENS CAN FALL OUT.

(1) Remove the screws (2), the lens (3) and the gasket (4).
(2) Remove the screws (5) and carefully remove the flash tube assembly (6).
