A. Removal of the Upper Anti-Collision (Beacon) Light
   (1) Remove the countersunk screws (1) from the lens (2).
   (2) Make match marks on the screws (1) and/or their positions to help you with the installation procedure (different screw sizes).
   (3) Remove the lens (2) and the seal (3).
   (4) Remove the countersunk screws (4) from the LED module (5).
   (5) Lift the LED module (5) until you see the electrical connector (8).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (6) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the LED module (5) and hold the electrical connector (8).
   (7) Remove the LED module (5).
   (8) Remove the O-ring (6).
   (9) Temporarily attach the electrical connector (8) to the flange (7) with the TIE WRAP(S).
   (10) Clean the surface of the fuselage around the upper anti-collision (beacon) light with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with a warm soap solution.
   (11) Make sure that no liquid goes into the flange (7).
   (12) Dry the surface with a dry Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (13) Apply the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - Sound damping - (Material No.05RAC1) on the top of the flange (7) and the adjacent area of the fuselage.
   (14) Make sure that the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - Sound damping - (Material No.05RAC1) is installed correctly.
   (15) The Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - Sound damping - (Material No.05RAC1) must fully seal the opening of the upper anti-collision (beacon) light.
   (16) Record the temporary repair of the upper anti-collision (beacon) light in the aircraft logbook.
   (17) Keep circuit breaker 1LV open, safetied and tagged.
