(2) Remove the glass (3) and the gasket (2).
(3) Use APD306 EXTRACTOR-LAMP to carefully remove the lamp (1) from the navigation light.
(4) If you do not have the APD306 EXTRACTOR-LAMP, use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to carefully remove the lamp (1) from the navigation light as follows:
(a) Carefully push the lamp (1) vertically up (or down) to release the lower (or higher) location spigot.
(b) Carefully pull and remove the lamp (1) from the lamp socket.

(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate:

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) below applicable zone 534 or 634.
(2) Remove the wingtip glazing panel (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-12-000-802).

CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
CAUTION:
DO NOT USE NON APPROVED METAL TOOLS TO REMOVE THE LAMP FROM THE LAMP HOLDER. THESE METAL TOOLS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LAMP REFLECTOR AND THE LAMP HOLDER.
CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TOO MUCH FORCE TO THE BULB OR SOCKET CONTACTS. TOO MUCH FORCE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DEFORMATION OF THE SOCKET, AND AS A RESULT, ARCING AND THUS BULB FAILURE.
A. Removal of the Wingtip Navigation-Light Lamp NOTE: This procedure is applicable to one and two-lamp wingtip navigation lights.
(1) Release the clips (4) that hold the glass (3) of the navigation light in position. (2) Remove the glass (3) and the gasket (2).
(3) Use APD306 EXTRACTOR-LAMP to carefully remove the lamp (1) from the navigation light.
(4) If you do not have the APD306 EXTRACTOR-LAMP, use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to carefully remove the lamp (1) from the navigation light as follows:
(a) Carefully push the lamp (1) vertically up (or down) to release the lower (or higher) location spigot.
(b) Carefully pull and remove the lamp (1) from the lamp socket.
NOTE: To remove the lamp (1) without damage, put a piece of string or cable tie around the lamp (1). The string/cable tie can then be used to safely pull the lamp (1) out of position.
