Removal/Installation of the Bulb of the Loading-Area LightSubtask 33-34-12-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) is (are) open.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE are in position at the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU is in the ON position.
(5) Make sure that the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel is removed:
(a) FOR [11LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)

(b) FOR [12LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)
151CC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002).
(6) Make sure that you have access to the applicable 2000VU series panel(s).
Subtask 33-34-12-860-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) is (are) open.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE are in position at the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door.
(4) Make sure that the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU is in the ON position.
(5) Make sure that the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel is removed:
(a) FOR [11LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)

(6) Make sure that you have access to the applicable 2000VU series panel(s).
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

(2) Make sure that the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) is (are) open.

(4) Make sure that the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU is in the ON position.
(5) Make sure that the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel is removed:
(a) FOR [11LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 33-34-12-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Loading-Area Light
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Installation of the Bulb of the Loading-Area Light
(b) Install the lens (3) and the clamping ring (1).
(c) Tighten the screw (2) of the clamping ring (1).
(4) Installation of the Loading-Area Light Housing
(a) Put the loading-area light-housing (10) in position on the bracket (3).
(b) Put the gasket (4) in position on the bracket assembly (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (12) on the bracket (3).
(c) Do not fully tighten the screws (9) at this stage.
(e) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (11).
(f) Install the loading-area light-housing (10) with the screws (2), the washers (1) and the nuts (13) on the bracket (14) on the aircraft structure.
(g) Install the access panel (6) with the screws (7) on the bracket assembly (5).
(h) Now fully tighten the screws (9).
Subtask 33-34-12-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Installation of the Bulb of the Loading-Area Light
CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
(a) Install the bulb (4) in the loading-area light housing (5). (b) Install the lens (3) and the clamping ring (1).
(c) Tighten the screw (2) of the clamping ring (1).
(4) Installation of the Loading-Area Light Housing
(a) Put the loading-area light-housing (10) in position on the bracket (3).
(b) Put the gasket (4) in position on the bracket assembly (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (12) on the bracket (3).
(c) Do not fully tighten the screws (9) at this stage.
NOTE: The loading-area light-housing (10) is now clamped between the bracket assembly (5) and the bracket (3).
(d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.(e) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (11).
(f) Install the loading-area light-housing (10) with the screws (2), the washers (1) and the nuts (13) on the bracket (14) on the aircraft structure.
(g) Install the access panel (6) with the screws (7) on the bracket assembly (5).
(h) Now fully tighten the screws (9).
A. Installation of the Loading-Area Light (11LU, 12LU)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the bulb of the loading-area light. To do this:
(b) Install the lens (3) and the clamping ring (1).
(c) Tighten the screw (2) of the clamping ring (1).
(4) Install the forward loading-area light housing (11LU). To do this:
(a) Put the loading-area light-housing (10) in position on the bracket (3).
(b) Put the gasket (4) in position on the bracket assembly (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (12) on the bracket (3).
(c) Do not fully tighten the screws (9) at this stage.
(e) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (11).
(f) Install the loading-area light-housing (10) with the screws (2), the washers (1) and the nuts (13) on the bracket (14) on the aircraft structure.
(g) Install the access panel (6) with the screws (7) on the bracket assembly (5).
(h) Now fully tighten the screws (9).
(5) Install the aft loading-area light housing (12LU). To do this:
(a) Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (24), the washers (25) and the nut (26) on the bracket (23).
(b) Install the bracket assembly (21) with the screws (35) on the ceiling panel (22).
(c) Put the bracket assembly (21) in the correct position to make sure that the lighting of the loading area is correct.
(d) Install the ceiling panel (22).
(e) Make sure that the lanyard (29) goes through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(f) Make sure that the electrical connectors (33) go through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(g) Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (27), the washers (28) and the nut (34) on the loading-area light-housing (30).
(h) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(i) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (33).
(j) Install the loading-area light-housing (30) with the screws (32) and the spacers (31) on the bracket assembly (21).
Subtask 33-34-12-420-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the bulb of the loading-area light. To do this:
CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
(a) Install the bulb (4) in the loading-area light housing (5). (b) Install the lens (3) and the clamping ring (1).
(c) Tighten the screw (2) of the clamping ring (1).
(4) Install the forward loading-area light housing (11LU). To do this:
(a) Put the loading-area light-housing (10) in position on the bracket (3).
(b) Put the gasket (4) in position on the bracket assembly (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (12) on the bracket (3).
(c) Do not fully tighten the screws (9) at this stage.
NOTE: The loading-area light-housing (10) is now clamped between the bracket assembly (5) and the bracket (3).
(d) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.(e) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (11).
(f) Install the loading-area light-housing (10) with the screws (2), the washers (1) and the nuts (13) on the bracket (14) on the aircraft structure.
(g) Install the access panel (6) with the screws (7) on the bracket assembly (5).
(h) Now fully tighten the screws (9).
(5) Install the aft loading-area light housing (12LU). To do this:
(a) Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (24), the washers (25) and the nut (26) on the bracket (23).
(b) Install the bracket assembly (21) with the screws (35) on the ceiling panel (22).
(c) Put the bracket assembly (21) in the correct position to make sure that the lighting of the loading area is correct.
(d) Install the ceiling panel (22).
(e) Make sure that the lanyard (29) goes through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(f) Make sure that the electrical connectors (33) go through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(g) Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (27), the washers (28) and the nut (34) on the loading-area light-housing (30).
(h) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(i) Use the M81969-14-02 INSERTION REMOVAL TOOL to connect the electrical connectors (33).
(j) Install the loading-area light-housing (30) with the screws (32) and the spacers (31) on the bracket assembly (21).
A. Installation of the Loading-Area Light (11LU, 12LU)
(1) Put the new AIPC 33-34-12-03-020 GASKET (5) around the lens (2).
(2) Loosely assemble the lens (2) in the housing (1).
(4) Carefully hold the frame (3) with the lens (2) and align the holes of the housing (1) with those in the frame (3).
(5) Attach the housing (1) to the frame (3) with the six screws (4).
Subtask 33-34-12-865-052-A (1) Put the new AIPC 33-34-12-03-020 GASKET (5) around the lens (2).
(2) Loosely assemble the lens (2) in the housing (1).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(3) Apply Threadlocking Adhesive-- High strength - (Material No.05BAJ1) to the threads of screws (4). (4) Carefully hold the frame (3) with the lens (2) and align the holes of the housing (1) with those in the frame (3).
(5) Attach the housing (1) to the frame (3) with the six screws (4).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel:

(3) Set the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU to the OFF position.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
Subtask 33-34-12-410-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel:

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel:
(a) FOR [11LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)

(b) FOR [12LU] (CARGO LOAD.AREA LIGHT)

(3) Set the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU to the OFF position.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
