A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
(3) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) is (are) open and the related safety locks are installed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the related ceiling panel(s) in the forward and/or aft cargo compartment(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-002)
Subtask 33-34-11-865-059-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s).
(3) Make sure that the forward and/or aft cargo-compartment door(s) is (are) open and the related safety locks are installed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the related ceiling panel(s) in the forward and/or aft cargo compartment(s) is (are) removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-002)
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Ballast Unit and the Lampholder
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the reflector (7) and the ballast unit and lampholder (6) to the lamp housing (10) with the screws (14).
(4) Put the electrical connector (5) through the hole in the lamp housing (10).
(5) Install the gasket (9) and the cover plate (8) with the screws (11), the washers (12) and the nuts (13).
(6) Install the fluorescent lamp (3).
(7) Install the glass cover (2) with the quick-release fasteners (1).
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (5).
Subtask 33-34-11-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the reflector (7) and the ballast unit and lampholder (6) to the lamp housing (10) with the screws (14).
(4) Put the electrical connector (5) through the hole in the lamp housing (10).
(5) Install the gasket (9) and the cover plate (8) with the screws (11), the washers (12) and the nuts (13).
(6) Install the fluorescent lamp (3).
(7) Install the glass cover (2) with the quick-release fasteners (1).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (5).

(4) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the socket (7).
(5) Install the ballast unit with lampholder (5) with the quick-release studs (6).
(6) Install the fluorescent lamp (3).
(7) Install the glass cover (2) with the quick-release studs (1).

Ballast Unit with Lampholder ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.(4) Connect the electrical connector (8) to the socket (7).
(5) Install the ballast unit with lampholder (5) with the quick-release studs (6).
(6) Install the fluorescent lamp (3).
(7) Install the glass cover (2) with the quick-release studs (1).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do an operational test of the forward and/or AFT cargo-compartment lighting (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the related ceiling panel(s) in the FWD and/or AFT cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-002).
(3) Remove the actuator safety-locks and close the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 33-34-11-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the related ceiling panel(s) in the FWD and/or AFT cargo compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-002) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-002).
(3) Remove the actuator safety-locks and close the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
