B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the APU doors.
   (2) Make sure that the APU access doors are open.
WARNING: LOCK THE MECHANISM OF THE ACCESS DOOR 316AR WITH THE PIP PIN WHEN YOU OPEN THE ACCESS DOOR. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY.
     (a) Make sure that the APU doors 315AL and 316AR are open.
   (3) Make sure that the switch 11LJ at zone 315 is set to the OFF position.
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the captive screws (3).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
B. Installation of the Lamp of the Service Area Light
NOTE: When it is necessary to replace one lamp, it is recommended that you replace the second lamp at the same time.
   (1) Put the lamp (5) in the light assembly (2) and turn it clockwise to lock the lamp in position.
   (2) Correctly align the cover assembly (4) with the screw holes of the housing (1).
   (3) Install the captive screws (3) and tighten.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Do the operational test of the service area light (Ref. AMM TASK 33-31-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
