B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access door at zone 312.
(2) Make sure that the access door 312AR is open.
(3) Make sure that the switch 3LJ at zone 312 is set to the OFF position.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the access door at zone 312.
(2) Make sure that the access door 312AR is open.
(3) Make sure that the switch 3LJ at zone 312 is set to the OFF position.
Subtask 33-31-11-910-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the mating surface of the service area light (4).
(4) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the washers (5) and the screws (6).
Subtask 33-31-11-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the mating surface of the service area light (4).
(4) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the washers (5) and the screws (6).
B. Installatiom of the Service Area Light and the Lamp
(1) Install the lamp:
(a) Install the lamp (10) in the housing (11).
(b) Install the new AIPC 33-31-11-01-030 SEAL (9), the lens (8) and the grid-screen (7) with the screws (12) on the housing (11).
(2) Install the service area light:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Hold the service area light (4) and install the electrical connections (1) with the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(c) Install the service area light (4) with the washers (2) and the screws (6).
Subtask 33-31-11-910-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the lamp:
(a) Install the lamp (10) in the housing (11).
(b) Install the new AIPC 33-31-11-01-030 SEAL (9), the lens (8) and the grid-screen (7) with the screws (12) on the housing (11).
(2) Install the service area light:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(b) Hold the service area light (4) and install the electrical connections (1) with the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(c) Install the service area light (4) with the washers (2) and the screws (6).
C. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (1) and the washers (2).
Subtask 33-31-11-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply the Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the screws (1) and the washers (2).
D. Installation of the Service Area Light
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Connect and safety the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(4) Put the service area light (3) in the correct installation position at the structure (4).
(5) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1) and tighten.
Subtask 33-31-11-865-075-A WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Connect and safety the electrical connectors (5) and (6).
(4) Put the service area light (3) in the correct installation position at the structure (4).
(5) Install the washers (2) and the screws (1) and tighten.
E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
