Installation of the Annunciator-Light Test and Interface-Board
CAUTION:
DURING REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS (PCB'S) THAT HAVE THE ESD SYMBOL, OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS:
- USE A CONDUCTIVE WRIST-STRAP THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED (CONNECTED TO A BONDING-POINT NEAR THE WORK AREA) BEFORE AND DURING HANDLING OF THE PCB'S. IF NO WRIST-STRAP IS AVAILABLE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT GROUND BEFORE YOU HANDLE THE PCB'S.
- DO NOT TOUCH THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR PINS.
- PREVENT CONTACT WITH THE TOP FACE OR BOTTOM FACE OF THE PCB WHERE THE ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE LOCATED.
- MAKE SURE THAT THE REPLACEMENT PCB'S ARE IN THEIR PROTECTIVE PACKAGING AND/OR NON-CONDUCTIVE BOX WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM ON THE AIRCRAFT.
- MAKE SURE THAT YOU PUT THE DEFECTIVE (REMOVED) PCB'S IN PROTECTIVE WRAPS FOR TRANSPORT BACK TO THE HANGAR.

A. Installation of the board
(1) Install the new annunciator-light test and interface-board (1).
(2) Tighten the two screws (2) that attach the annunciator light test and interface-board to its support (3).
