Installation of the Center Main-Instrument-Panel Light

DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Center Main-Instrument-Panel Light
(1) Remove the CAP - BLANKING and connect the electrical connector (8) to the connector (7) of the light (1).
(2) Install the light (1) in the housing and hold it.
(3) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(a) Let the blanking plate of the light (1) open in the down direction.
(4) Tighten the screws (3).
(5) Install the washer (5) and the screw (6).
(6) Tighten the screw (6).
(7) Close the blanking plate of the light (1) in the up direction.
(8) Tighten the fasteners (4).
Subtask 33-12-13-865-058-A (1) Remove the CAP - BLANKING and connect the electrical connector (8) to the connector (7) of the light (1).
(2) Install the light (1) in the housing and hold it.
(3) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(a) Let the blanking plate of the light (1) open in the down direction.
(4) Tighten the screws (3).
(5) Install the washer (5) and the screw (6).
(6) Tighten the screw (6).
(7) Close the blanking plate of the light (1) in the up direction.
(8) Tighten the fasteners (4).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
