CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

A. Removal of the Supplementary Reading Light (29LE)

   (1) Loosen the four quick-disconnect fasteners (2) from the reading-light panel 54VU (3).
CAUTION: MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (2) Disconnect the female electrical connectors (4) from the male electrical connectors (5) of the supplementary reading light (6).
   (3) Remove the circlips (1) from the supplementary reading light (6).
   (4) Remove the supplementary reading light (6).

B. Removal of the Reading Light Single-Control-Box (51LE)
F Reading-light single control-box ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Loosen the four quick-disconnect fasteners (2) from the reading-light panel 54VU (3).
   (2) Carefully pull the reading-light panel 54VU (3).
   (3) Remove the two screws (15) and disconnect the electrical connector (14).
   (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (5) Loosen the two screws (9) installed on the knob (8) but do not remove them.
   (6) Remove the knob (8).
   (7) Remove the four screws (10) and the integrally lighted plate (7).
   (8) Remove the nut (11) and washer (12).
   (9) Remove the single control box (13).
