Removal of the Reading Light
CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

A. Removal of the Reading Light Bulb
(1) Captain / First Officer reading lights
(a) Lift the reading light (2) out of its housing (1) and put it against its stop.
(b) Push the button under the reading light (2) and remove the light unit (4).
(c) Release the two catches that attach the socket (5) in the light unit (4) and remove the socket (5).
(d) Remove the bulb (3).
(2) Supplementary reading light
(a) Remove the cap (4) from the reading light body (2) with a screwdriver.
(b) Remove the bulb (3) from the socket (1).
Subtask 33-12-12-020-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Captain / First Officer reading lights
(a) Lift the reading light (2) out of its housing (1) and put it against its stop.
(b) Push the button under the reading light (2) and remove the light unit (4).
(c) Release the two catches that attach the socket (5) in the light unit (4) and remove the socket (5).
(d) Remove the bulb (3).
(2) Supplementary reading light
(a) Remove the cap (4) from the reading light body (2) with a screwdriver.
(b) Remove the bulb (3) from the socket (1).
B. Removal of the Reading Lights
(1) Captain / First Officer reading lights
(a) Pull and turn the reading light (12) to get access to its holder (10).
(b) Remove the four attaching screws (11) and the four washers (7).
(c) Pull the reading light holder (10) out of its housing.
(d) Disconnect the female terminal lugs (8) from the male terminal lugs (9).
(e) Remove the reading light (12).
(2) Supplementary reading light
(a) Remove the QAD fasteners (5) from the panel (9).
(b) Disconnect the female terminal lugs (6) from the male terminal lugs (7).
(c) Remove the circlip (10) from the reading light (8).
(d) Remove the reading light (8) .
(1) Captain / First Officer reading lights
(a) Pull and turn the reading light (12) to get access to its holder (10).
(b) Remove the four attaching screws (11) and the four washers (7).
(c) Pull the reading light holder (10) out of its housing.
(d) Disconnect the female terminal lugs (8) from the male terminal lugs (9).
(e) Remove the reading light (12).
(2) Supplementary reading light
(a) Remove the QAD fasteners (5) from the panel (9).
(b) Disconnect the female terminal lugs (6) from the male terminal lugs (7).
(c) Remove the circlip (10) from the reading light (8).
(d) Remove the reading light (8) .
