Installation of the Cockpit Dome Light

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.

4. Procedure

A. Preparation for the Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Make an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Lamp
(1) Install the new AIPC 33-12-08-09-030 LAMP (10).

C. Installation of the Dome Light Box
(1) Remove the CAP - BLANKING of the disconnected electrical connector (1) and the socket (2).
(2) Install the dome light box.
(3) Install the four screws (4) and washers (3).
(4) Tighten the four screws (4).
(5) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the socket (2).

D. Installation of the Socket
(1) Install the new AIPC 33-12-08-09-010 HOLDER LAMP (9) in its housing.
(2) Install the washer (8) and nut (7).
(a) Tighten the nut (7).
(3) Connect the power supply cable (11) to the socket (9).
(4) Install the washer (13) and screw (12).
(a) Tighten the screw (12).
(5) Put the plate (6) in position. Hold it in this position.
(6) Install the two screws (14) and the two screws (5) with their nuts (15) and tighten them.

E. Installation of the Ceiling Panel
(1) For the Captain dome light, install ceiling panel 211CC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-001).
(2) For the F/O dome light, install ceiling panel 212CC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-001).

F. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
