Subtask 32-51-51-860-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001)
(2) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(4) On the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate them.
(5) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the servo-control.
Subtask 32-51-51-865-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.

(2) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(4) On the steering handwheels (CAPT and F/O) and on the brake pedals, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate them.
(5) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
- on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system, access door (197CB).
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the servo-control.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 32-51-51-110-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the attachment hardware with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and dry with filtered compressed air.
(3) Apply a light coat of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to the threads of all the screws.
Subtask 32-51-51-420-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the attachment hardware with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and dry with filtered compressed air.
(3) Apply a light coat of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-High Temp. Area - Structure (Material No.06LDG2) to the threads of all the screws.
B. Installation of the Electro-Distributor
(1) Remove blanking caps from the electrical connectors (4) and (11).
(2) Make sure that the electrical connectors (4) and (11) are in the correct condition.
(3) Install the new AIPC 32-51-51-06-050 PACKING (7) and AIPC 32-51-51-06-010 PACKING (10).
(4) Install the new AIPC 32-51-51-06-060 PACKING (8) and AIPC 32-51-51-06-070 PACKING (9) with their thrust ring.
(5) Put the electro-distributor (5) in position with the screws (6).
(6) Push the electro-distributor (5) to connect the electrical connector (4).
(7) Make sure that the seals (7), (8), (9) and (10) are in the correct condition.
(8) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )

(9) Safety the screws (6) with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(10) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Brushable - (Material No.06ABA1) to the heads of the screws (6).
Subtask 32-51-51-865-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove blanking caps from the electrical connectors (4) and (11).
(2) Make sure that the electrical connectors (4) and (11) are in the correct condition.
(3) Install the new AIPC 32-51-51-06-050 PACKING (7) and AIPC 32-51-51-06-010 PACKING (10).
(4) Install the new AIPC 32-51-51-06-060 PACKING (8) and AIPC 32-51-51-06-070 PACKING (9) with their thrust ring.
(5) Put the electro-distributor (5) in position with the screws (6).
(6) Push the electro-distributor (5) to connect the electrical connector (4).
(7) Make sure that the seals (7), (8), (9) and (10) are in the correct condition.
(8) TORQUE the screws (6) to between 0.5 and 0.4 m.daN (44.25 and 35.40 lbf.in )
. (9) Safety the screws (6) with
(10) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Brushable - (Material No.06ABA1) to the heads of the screws (6).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Functional Test
(1) Do the functional test of the nose wheel steering (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-004).

Subtask 32-51-51-860-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
