A. Get Access
   (1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001)
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
  • Do not connect the PTU isolation coupling
  • Do not close the right MLG door.
   (3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
   (4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (5) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the selector valve (2) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-51-23-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Selector Valve
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the selector valve (2).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Remove the bolt (13), the washer (12) and the bonding strap (11).
   (4) Hold the selector valve (2) and remove the bolts (3) and the washers (4).
   (5) Remove the selector valve (2) from the manifold (10).
   (6) Remove the bobbins (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001) as follows:
     (a) Remove the bobbins (7) from the manifold (10).
     (b) Remove and discard the O-rings (5) and (9).
     (c) Remove and discard the back-up rings (6) and (8).
     (d) Keep the bobbins (7) in storage for the subsequent installation procedure.
   (7) Put PLUG - BLANKING in the ports of the manifold (10).
