3. Job Set-up

A. Get Access
   (1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001)
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002):
  • Do not connect the PTU isolation coupling
  • Do not close the right MLG door.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
   (4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (5) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the selector valve manifold-assembly to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-51-23-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Selector Valve Manifold-Assembly
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the selector valve manifold-assembly (10).
   (3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (4) Disconnect the tube assemblies (3), (5) and (9) from the selector valve manifold-assembly (10).
   (5) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (6) Put blanking caps on the hydraulic connectors (4), (6) and (8) of the selector valve manifold-assembly (10).
   (7) Remove the nut (12), the bolt (16), the washer (15) and the bonding lead (14) from the structure (13).
   (8) Hold the selector valve manifold-assembly (10) with your hand.
   (9) Remove the bolts (1) and the washers (2).
   (10) Remove the selector valve manifold-assembly (10) from the structure (7).
