Removal of the Parking-Brake Electrical Control-Valve

A. Get Access
(1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(4) Make sure that the pressure on the gage 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
(7) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-45-53-865-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
NOTE: Do not connect the PTU isolation coupling.
NOTE: Do not close the right MLG door.
(3) Make sure that the alternate brake system is depressurized. (4) Make sure that the pressure on the gage 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
(5) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(7) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

Subtask 32-45-53-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Parking-Brake Electrical Control-Valve
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (6) from the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Disconnect the tube assemblies (2), (3) and (4) from the parking brake electrical control valve (7).
(5) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(6) Hold the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) with your hand.
(7) Remove the bolts (9), the washers (8) and the bonding lead (1).
(8) Remove the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) from the support assembly (5).
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (6) from the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Disconnect the tube assemblies (2), (3) and (4) from the parking brake electrical control valve (7).
(5) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(6) Hold the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) with your hand.
(7) Remove the bolts (9), the washers (8) and the bonding lead (1).
(8) Remove the parking-brake electrical control-valve (7) from the support assembly (5).
