Removal of the Parking Brake Control Switch

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-45-52-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Rotary Switch
(1) Remove the screw (5), the pin (4), and the knob (3).
(2) Loosen the four Dzus fasteners (2) from the panel 110VU (1) by a quarter turn.
(3) Lift the panel 110VU (1).
(4) Identify and disconnect the wires (9) from the rotary switch (8) with the applicable tool color white/red included in the DMC519 ELECTRICIAN SERVICE TOOL KIT.
(5) Remove the nut (6) and the washer (7).
(6) Remove the rotary switch (8).
