A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-45-51-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
Subtask 32-45-51-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(5) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(6) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the hydraulic pipe connectors on the control valve (1).
4. Procedure(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(5) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(6) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the hydraulic pipe connectors on the control valve (1).
Subtask 32-45-51-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Parking-Brake Electrical Control-Valve 72GG
(2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the component interfaces.
(3) Put the control valve (1) in position and install the washers (3) and the bolts (2).
(4) Connect the bonding straps.
(a) Put the bonding strap (5) in position and install the washer (3) and the bolt (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) Connect the hydraulic pipes.
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(c) Connect the hydraulic pipe (6) to the union "C" and TORQUE to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )

(d) Connect the hydraulic pipe (7) to the union "D" and TORQUE to between 1.7 and 1.3 m.daN (150.44 and 115.04 lbf.in )

(e) Connect the hydraulic pipe (8) to the union "A" and TORQUE to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(f) Connect the hydraulic pipe (9) to the union "B" and TORQUE to between 1.7 and 1.3 m.daN (150.44 and 115.04 lbf.in )
.
(g) Make a mark on the pipe connectors with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) .
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors (10) and (11) to the control valve (1).
Subtask 32-45-51-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the component interfaces.
(3) Put the control valve (1) in position and install the washers (3) and the bolts (2).
(4) Connect the bonding straps.
(a) Put the bonding strap (5) in position and install the washer (3) and the bolt (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(5) Connect the hydraulic pipes.
(a) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(b) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connectors (10) and (11) to the control valve (1).
B. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
Subtask 32-45-51-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the parking brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the control valve 72GG.
5. Close-up(1) Do the operational test of the parking brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-00-710-001).

Subtask 32-45-51-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts, the connectors and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts, the connectors and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
