Removal of the Park Brake - Pressure Switch

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-45-17-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at the park brake-pressure switch (4).

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
4. Procedure(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- On the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Removal of the Park Brake-Pressure Switch 86GG
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (5).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(5) Remove the bolt (6) and the washer (7) and remove the bonding strap (8) from the clamp (9).
(7) Remove the park brake-pressure switch (4) from the union (1).
(8) Remove the packing (11) from the park brake-pressure switch (4).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (5).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR(S) IS(ARE) DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE BONDING STRAP(S).
(4) Remove the nut (2) and the washer (3). (5) Remove the bolt (6) and the washer (7) and remove the bonding strap (8) from the clamp (9).
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(6) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire (10) from the park brake-pressure switch (4). (7) Remove the park brake-pressure switch (4) from the union (1).
(8) Remove the packing (11) from the park brake-pressure switch (4).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
