A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

(1) Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Preparation of the Replacement Component
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new AIPC 32-45-03-03-100 PACKINGS (3) and to the threads of the reducers (2) and the unions (9).
(3) Install the packings (3) on the reducers (2) and the unions (9).
(4) Remove the blanking plugs from the dual shuttle valve (4).
(5) Install the reducers (2) and the unions (9) in the dual shuttle valve (4).
(6) TORQUE the reducers (2) and the unions (9) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

Subtask 32-45-16-560-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).

(5) Install the reducers (2) and the unions (9) in the dual shuttle valve (4).
(6) TORQUE the reducers (2) and the unions (9) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. B. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
Subtask 32-45-16-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
C. Installation of the Dual Shuttle Valve
(2) Put the dual shuttle valve (4) in position and install the bolts (6) and the washers (5).
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(5) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(6) Connect the hydraulic connectors (7) and (8) to the reducers (2).
(7) Connect the hydraulic connectors (10) and (13) to the unions (9).
(8) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (13) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )

(9) Connect the hydraulic connector (12) to the parking brake pressure-switch (86GG).
(10) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (12) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )
.
(11) If removed, install parking brake pressure-switch (86GG) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-17-400-001).
(12) TORQUE the hydraulic connectors (7) and (8) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(13) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (10) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )
.
(14) Connect the hydraulic connector (1) to the reducer (2).
(15) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (1) to between 7.95 and 7.85 m.daN (58.63 and 57.89 lbf.ft )
.
(16) Identify the tightened union nuts with a red line
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
Subtask 32-45-16-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL Subtask 32-45-16-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU DO NOT USE THE SECOND WRENCH, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU WILL LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
(1) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the component interface. (2) Put the dual shuttle valve (4) in position and install the bolts (6) and the washers (5).
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(5) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(6) Connect the hydraulic connectors (7) and (8) to the reducers (2).
(7) Connect the hydraulic connectors (10) and (13) to the unions (9).
(8) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (13) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )
. (9) Connect the hydraulic connector (12) to the parking brake pressure-switch (86GG).
(10) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (12) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )
. (11) If removed, install parking brake pressure-switch (86GG) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-17-400-001).
(12) TORQUE the hydraulic connectors (7) and (8) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (13) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (10) to between 4.57 and 4.47 m.daN (33.70 and 32.96 lbf.ft )
. (14) Connect the hydraulic connector (1) to the reducer (2).
(15) TORQUE the hydraulic connector (1) to between 7.95 and 7.85 m.daN (58.63 and 57.89 lbf.ft )
. (16) Identify the tightened union nuts with a red line

E. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

F. Bleed the System
(1) Bleed the high-pressure alternate braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002).

G. Test
(1) Do the operational check of the parking brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-00-710-001).
(2) Do the operational check of the alternate braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the dual shuttle valve (4). Leaks are not permitted.
5. Close-up(1) Do the operational check of the parking brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-00-710-001).
(2) Do the operational check of the alternate braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the dual shuttle valve (4). Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 32-45-16-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts, the connectors and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the CONTAINER.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts, the connectors and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the CONTAINER.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
